Follow the life of Phoebe the mouse as she plays and explores her world with her stuffed sidekick. These are cute “tails” from author Joanna Johnson, and they are brought to life with charming illustrations by Eric Johnson. This married team has created a darling book series that incorporates stories, images, and knitting! Meet Phoebe in Phoebe’s Sweater, and follow her through spring, winter, summer, and fall. Flip to the end of the book, and you’ll discover patterns to make for your own little one–Phoebe’s sweater, her stuffed mouse, and a matching doll sweater.

Enter to win the Phoebe’s Sweater Prize Pack through AllFreeKnitting and you can discover more about this sweet mouse in Phoebe’s Birthday, and learn about a cute platypus in Freddie’s Blanket. Each book includes special knitting patterns for items found in the stories. These three books are signed by Joanna and Eric Johnson. Also included in the giveaway is a signed illustrated poster and 3 sets of hand drawn cards from Slate Falls Press.

As an art teacher in an elementary school, these books will add a wonderful tale as I teach about textiles and demonstrate knitting and fiber arts to my students. Thanks for such cute books.
