spring meadow knit alongCan you believe that our fabulous knit along is over?  I can’t hardly believe that it has been over 6 weeks since we started working on this great free knit lace scarf pattern!  I have really enjoyed watching everyone work on their own Spring Meadow scarves.  Watching everyone discuss yarn choices, ask each other questions, and even make their own personal design choices along the way has been inspiring.  Isn’t it great to watch a community of like-minded people come together and work on the same project?

Heidi Gustad of Hands Occupied sure did a great job leading us in this wonderful knit along.  If you have a chance, be sure to check out her blog and let her know.  She’ll love it!  Her video demonstrations of each part of this great scarf, as well as the spring-themed lace patterns she chose made this knit along a great success.

KAL-HeidiHere’s a selection of the finished scarves that have been posted.  Just look at all the great color choices.  You all did a wonderful job! I don’t know if I could pick a favorite if I was asked to, that’s for sure.

This isn’t everyone, and pictures were randomly chosen.

And now, without further ado, the winner of the grand prize for participating in our #springmeadowKAL is:

Storm OfStarzz

Congratualtions, Storm!  Be sure to check your email for further information.

To everyone else who participated, THANK YOU SO MUCH for joining us.  We really did have so much fun with this knit along.  Stay tuned, because there will be another knit along announced before you know it.

What was your favorite part of the knit along?
