Summer is almost here (or may already be for some college grads out there), which means there is no better time to find a crochet or knitting event to attend. When the kids are out of school, take a weekend to go to one of these conventions and events that are happening all over the US just in time to celebrate the warm weather. Now you and your kids will both have a hobby you can do together during all that summer free time!
Something cool happening this month is that VOGUE Knitting Live is coming to other destinations around the country. This is one of those experiences that would be really awesome to get to say you were a part of.
Otherwise, there are plenty of things for you to do. Whether you attend an event or choose to spend some more time at home, I’m sure that yarn will be continue to be a part of your daily life anyway. You can always find more free tutorials and patterns on any of our sister sites, such as AllFreeCrochet and AllFreeKnitting. When the kids get out of school or everyone is just spending a Saturday afternoon at home, try working up a new pattern you’ve never done before. I’m sure the results will be great!
If you do happen to make it to one of these events or any others, let us know in the comments below! We would love to hear how you spend your time with yarn this May.
