What a great idea! I usually do the same thing just on my fingers, mainly when I’ve had to undo something and have a tangle of yarn, but I have a friend who rewinds ALL her yarn (even pull skeins) into balls, so I’ll be sharing this technique with her. Thanks for the tutorial!

when you’re knitting, you’re not focusing on your problems. When you’re not focusing on your problems, you can happily create. When you’re in a state of creation, you realize that there’s a lot to be grateful for. When you’re in a state of gratitude, you can find peace in the midst of chaos. Knitting is good therapy.

I learned a lot of new ones reading through the comments, but really didn’t know any when I started. I really enjoyed ” I’m a knotty, knotty hooker;” as well as “There is no such thing as too much yarn.” I did have a friend once tell me her yarn supply was “Stable – Stash Acquired Beyond Life Expectancy.” I thought it was funny, but always struggle to remember it:) Thanks for the wonderful contests and the patterns throughout the year!
