Cut yarn leaving at least an 8” tail and thread darning needle with the tail of the yarn.
Run needle through each of the remaining stitches and remove the needles as you go.
Insert needle through the center hole and pull tight on the inside of the hat.
Tie off and weave in all ends.
Steam or wet block your hat to relax the yarn.
Hat will st retch a bit in length making it just a little slouchy.
Sew 2 or 3 buttons from the snowman face onto the ribbing as decoration on the hat.
This is optional.
*Another cute option would be to sew all of the snowman face buttons onto your hat in the face shape to make the hat look like a snowman head. This would be darling for a kids hat!
