I crochet in my living room while my husband plays his games. Just having him there makes my projects come along nicely.
My favorite place to knit is….wherever I am
I agree with you, mine likes to watch TV and knitting relaxes me enough to stop jumping up and doing things. Then hubby and I can relax and I feel like I’m getting something accomplished.
I love to crochet anywhere really bit the most relaxing place is in my corner on my couch. It is very comfortable and I just lay down or sit up. Its very relaxing and helpful to reduce stress especially since I have a baby on the way.
I normally knit sitting on the couch since it’s in the center of the house, the tv is in there, and there’s plenty of room for my daughter to play at the same time.
my room
My big comfy recliner in my living room. And another spot in the Spinster, our local Yarn Shop.
The family room in my home is it. Room for my pets
with outside access for them and plenty of light for me.
In my somewhat disreputable but uber-comfy old Lazy Boy with a good show on and a lapfull of furry “helper”.
I knit in the living room on front of the TV.
I have a comfy chair by a standing lamp. Thanks for the giveaway!
On the couch in my den.
I don’t knit at home often but love knitting on the trolley to and from work
I love to knit in the craft room and the bedroom
On the couch is my usual place. But I take projects with me almost everywhere I go. At night before sleep, I try to get a few rows in while sitting in bed. I put things away after I wake up to find I’ve been crocheting while fast asleep and have to rip out some stuff. 😀
Recliner with my pups.
I have a chair in my den that supports my knitting perfectly!

I love knit & crochet in my living room in my moms rocker. She was ill and came to live with me. I brought some of her furniture and set up a separate living room to look as much like hers as possible. I got to enjoy her for four months before she passed away. I left things as they were.
I love to knit and crochet and spend hours looking at patterns and trying them out. I love colours and different textures of wool. I sit in my rocker and knit or crochet or else I have something of both on the go. I find it so relaxing and enjoyable. I hope I can do this exercise for a very long time, I love it. I made things for family and friends , nursing homes, missions and and hospital nursery.
My favorite place to knit or crochet is my couch. It is very convenient and comfy 🙂
I sit in my bedroom and watch tv or listen to books on tape while knitting.
I sit on the couch in my office because it has the best lighting.

I usually knit sitting on the love seat in den.

The couch… in TV Room.

I am usually multi-tasking, so I like to crochet at my table, where I can pencil off completed rows/rounds/etc and read from a book held in a book rack when the stitching is repetitive. Otherwise, I crochet while watching TV. I used to have a very old, slow computer, and could stitch 1-12 stitches while waiting for pages to load 🙂 I quit crocheting and stitching plastic canvas on city bus rides because too many people interrupted me to talk about my “knitting” and ask if I’d make something — free — for them 🙁

My favorite place is any where and every where I can squeeze in the time to crochet or loom knit. Finding the time is just about as hard as deciding on what to make. I mostly love to make things to give as gifts to others and making things that my grand children ask for. But the reactions I get from the receiver is well worth the time spent on each and every thing I have made.

I remember my mother doing her quilting in this very same room when I was a child, and it is calming knowing I am sort of continuing the tradition.

Where do I crochet, well, the question for me would be more like where DON’T I? I crochet in the sewing room while I watch craft videos, in the kitchen while I’m waiting for things to cook, in the living room while I sit for awhile with my husband.. In my bed to relax waiting for all that snow to melt outside my window, HMM, I can make a king size afghan and then some waiting for that to happen, but at least Its inspiring me to keep on going, thinking warm… A scarf would works.. Have a great day..
The livingroom
