Our style goes through drastic changes throughout our lives. I can’t speak for the rest of you, but there are definitely some pieces of clothing and certain home decor choices that I wish I had never thought. For example, bell bottom capris (flaring from the knee to mid calf, not really flattering) and painting my room a neon green color with two accent walls in an even more hideous darker neon green color (complete with 70’s style beaded curtains over my windows, whose painted design looked like the little AT&T logo….and it was not the 70’s).
While those style choices I will gladly leave in the past, there are a few that I gladly carry into my future. My favorite is definitely the bohemian style. I love the color palette, the beautiful prints, and how relaxed it is in general. It’s definitely my go-to style when I’m looking to give a room a chic-yet-relaxed look. It’s also so light, airy, and full of flower patterns, that it’s perfect for the spring and summer seasons.
