Welcome back everyone. This is the sixth week of the 2nd Annual Gift Giving Video Series. For 12 weeks, I’ll be presenting you with video tutorials for simple gifts can make for the upcoming holiday season. Whether you knit or crochet, there will be something for everyone! This week we’ll be learning how to loom knit Christmas ornaments.
Gift 6: How to Make a Loom Knit Christmas Ornament
The Crochet Crowd’s Loom Knitting Video Host, Kristen Mangus, is back again this week for another free video tutorial on how to make Christmas Ornaments using your loom knitting tool. Kristen uses a Figure 8 wrapping techniques, which I have never seen before. She uses a white styrofoam ball, felt, jingle bells, and of course, yarn. If she were to do this, off camera, she would have prepared the ball first before applying the yarn around the ball. The white ball against the red yarn makes it easier for you to see what she is doing.
Grab some yarn and follow along.
Be sure to check out all of the video tutorials in the Gift Giving Video Series! Now is the time to get started on your holiday projects.
What have you made with a knitting loom? Or, if you’ve never used one, what would you like to try making?
