60 Quick Baby Knits Book Giveaway!

May 2, 2012 by AllFreeKnitting 18 Comments

This book is packed more than a diaper bag for the road. It’s just bursting with patterns for babies and toddlers. Cascade Yarns has created 60 Quick Baby Knits with an abundance of cute and color. The majority of the patterns are cardigans, sweaters, and blankies, but there are some sweet hats, booties, and dresses too! Choose from projects like the Songbird Sweater, the Sweet Pea Cardigan, or the ridiculously cute Sheep Hat. You’ll want to knit each cheeky little pattern with the turn of every page.

And guess what? We love this book so much that we want to share it with you. We’re giving away a copy of 60 Quick Baby Knits. Leave a comment on one of the free project pages listed below from AllFreeKnitting telling us who you’d knit it for. The giveaway will end on May 7th, 2012 so be sure to get those comments in.

I made a really bad looking toy for a baby and it completely unraveled after just a few minutes of playing with it!

Baby In Bloom Hat – I could make this for one of my co-workers – I have lots of co-workers with children and I usually crochet something for each of them upon their births.

The baby bear hat is darling. I made a stuffed kitten that ended up looking like a rabbit. My neice as a baby loved it anyways.

The cutest things I’ve made for a baby was a tiny granny motif dress made with crochet cotton.

I actually made two of them- one for each of two girls born a few weeks apart – one set of parents got married, the second set, already married, seem to have celebrated along with the newlyweds.

Each dress was made with special colors: one was white and yellow to honor the grandfather, my friend, for whom yellow is a favorite color because as he is color blind and yellow is a color he can see.

The second was white and two shades of blue, as blue is the favorite color of the dad to be.

Each dress took about 45 hours to create and it was well worth every minute each one took.
