I’ve made the Super-Easy Granny Afghan twice since May. (Does it count if the pattern came from your sister site AllFreeCrochetAfghans?) I’m currently making the Sugar ‘n Shine: Baby’s First Afghan (which, again, I might have found via either this site or AllFreeCrochetAfghans), and plan to make the Candy-Ghan: Baby’s First Afghan after that.

Then I moved on to make scarves to give away for charity, and now I am looking forward to making a Puppy Dog Lovey for a friend who will soon have a boy.
I wish Allfreecrochet many more stitches to come!

I want to make some baby things…but there are no babies around….so I decided to make a new tradition, which will be to make all of the things that were made in the old days, and put them in a hope-chest. These things can also be used as gifts, or saved for my future grandchildren/ great-grandchildren. So I figure why wait until 2014 to start….
Beanies and bags
The Baby Lamb: The first day I lucked onto your site I was looking for a crochet pattern for a stuffed lamb. I found just what I was looking for in a pattern for a mobile consisting of three baby lambs. My 30 year old soon had just lost his job and was trying to find a new one. He’s been feeling really low. When he was 4 I crocheted him a baby lamb for his first day of nursery school. He still has it. I hadn’t crocheted since then! But with all of your tutorials I taught myself all over again just to make him a new lamb.
I just finished it and I gave it to him with a note that read, “I believed in you then and I believe in you now.” Now I need to persuade this 6’3″ man to let me snap a photo of him and his new baby lamb!
I just downloaded a fingerless glove pattern. Can’t wait to try it.
