We would like to extend a special thank you to everyone that participated in this wonderful charity event for Little Hats, Big Hearts.
Together, we were able to collect 6,300 red baby hats for charity! Our friends at Little Hats, Big Hearts are thankful for the support, and the babies that receive these hats are grateful, as well.
During the month of September, we received baby hats not only from all over the country, but also worldwide; there were a handful of hats from South Africa, Europe, and Australia. It’s truly remarkable to see such a large group of yarnies come together for one common cause.
These homemade red baby hats will be donated to babies born during the month of February to help raise awareness of heart disease, the number one killer of Americans, and congenital heart defects, the most common type of birth defect in the country.
Thank you all so much for everyone that helped make this charity drive such a tremendous success. We were blown away with the number of hats we received on a daily basis. Your support is greatly appreciated and we look forward to more charity drives like this in the future!
