I love to crochet, but I am limited to one pattern. Its from a book I bought 10years ago called Crochet Made Easy. I’ve made the same “baby” blanket over and over. I just make 24 plain squares then join them together. I love making the squares but the joining together will sometimes get put off forever. I’m wondering if its possible to make afghan/blanket using one big plain square rather than making many small ones to be joined? And what changes I’d need to make in the corners to do it? By the way, I know the different stitches and abbreviations but find it much easier to read the pattern in diagram form with symbols than abbreviations. Can someone please let me know if its possible and how? Thanks

If you are doing a simple granny square with no special design then just continue it out.
