Being a first time mom and brushing up on my crochet skills has really led me to crochet many baby items. Baby crochet patterns are the cutest thing ever and I just can’t get enough of them. I’ve made anything from headbands, to blankets and pillows, a little owl amigurumi and the latest, booties! Baby booties are so adorable and come in such a great variety of crochet designs. I made my daughter a pair of Mary Janes in a beautiful periwinkle purple color (of course I made a matching flower headband, too). This roundup is for all those moms-to-be, anyone looking for a baby shower gift or anyone who simply loves to make little things. Let’s get bootie-licious with some cutesy baby bootie crochet patterns!
Posh Crochet Baby Booties by Paula from Crochet Hooks You – These little Mary Janes were embellished with buttons and ribbons, which was the perfect finishing touch. Only eight rounds are worked up to get these cute booties.
Sweet High Tops by Michael Sellick from The Crochet Crowd – Going back to the old school days, these baby booties are certainly one of a kind. Use little embellishments to complete the crochet design for any little boy or girl.
Newborn Flower Hat with Booties by capcodcrochet from Instructables – These booties are perfect for that nice occasion like a baptism or Sunday church. There’s even a matching crochet hat pattern as a bonus!
Simple Booties by Jessica Felton from Jess Gets Crafty – Worked in single crochet and double crochet, these simple booties will fit a three to six month baby. Each bootie is worked in one continuous piece giving you just two ends to weave in; it’s that easy!
Two-Strap Designer Baby Shoes by Lisa van Klaveren from Lisa van Klaveren – These adorable shoes are great for boys or girls and are functional just like an adult’s shoe. The tongue is movable while the double strap makes this shoe fashionable and comfy.
Bow Baby Booties from Jay’s Boutique – The bow on these booties are super cute, but the height of the ankle part will definitely help keep these on your baby’s feet. If your baby is anything like mine, she is constantly kicking shoes off, so these would be great!
Boys Slippon Booties by Shehnaaz Afzar from Crochet Dreamz – This crochet design is written for newborns to 12 months, but you can also alter the sizes if you need anything bigger. Shehnaaaz has more awesome crochet baby booties on her site, so check them out!
Cuffed Baby Booties by Sarah Zimmerman from Repeat Crafter Me – When I come across baby crochet patterns like these crocheted booties, my heart just melts. These are one of my favorite designs and I really think the button completes it.
If you have your own kids, grandkids or simply know a little tyke, then you should be making these patterns; they’re too cute!
Which of these bootie-licious booties would you like to work up?
