My favorite is definitely Christmas. The decorations, the gifts, the warmth of a big family meal while it’s cold outside… 😀
Christmas-definitely Christmas! Snow, crisp air, presents, GREAT food, shopping, family get-togethers, party atmosphere, feelings of goodwill-yup, definitely Christmas.
I love the 4th of. July
I love the 4th of. July
Christmas! However, I love all holidays! 🙂
Halloween is my favorite!
I love orange!
The cliched answer of course – Christmas! The air is full of holiday cheer and warm thoughts even as the temperature dips low. Traditions with family new and old make this the best of the seasons 🙂
Halloween! So much creativity!
Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving! Delicious food and time with family, without the stress of shopping for gifts.
Christmas!
My favorite Holiday is Christmas. Even seems happier. I love making gifts for friends and family!
I say Thanksgiving because that is the start of all the festive holidays.; Thanksgiving brings family and friends together for the beginning of the holidays. Then Halloween comes and then the best of all the holidays – Christmas!
Christmas by far. I love giving gifts
Since losing my son 2 1/2 years ago now more than ever I just go through the motions when it comes to holidays….the only part I enjoy is the opportunity to spend time with his girls
I would say so far my favorite holiday it’s Halloween. I’ve been in the US a year so far. And the only holiday that I really enjoyed its halloween. You can be someone else for a night. Dress up in crazy clothes that on a normal day you wouldn’t dare to wear. Crazy hair colors. The only night were you can express yourself without being judge of what you are wearing or how much make up you put on!it’s awesome!!
Halloween….I love the fall colors and you can be creative in so many ways.
Every day of the year is a Holiday. Started knitting after several years, making baby hats. I am so obsessed with this new project…..
I love Christmas because it’s the time of the year when we get to see the love that people have for one another… It’s the one time that we get to truly see how great humans really can be. The time of year when strangers get together to help others. Christmas, is by far the best holiday 🙂
I love thanksgiving. It reminds you what family is all about. And I always get that warm feeling inside then we can appreciate Christmas even more.
It has been Christmas like forever, but the last 3 years we have enjoyed so much Thanksgiving up in the North Carolina Mountains, so beautiful, with a postcard view from the porch, it has become the most expected Holiday of the year.
I love all holidays but I absolutely LOVE the 4th of July. I love this country and RED, WHITE AND BLUE!
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because it is a time to reflect on all that we should be thankful for. Oh and because it is my birth month and I like the temperatures this time of year.
Winter solstice 🙂
I love Christmas but Thanksgving is a very close 2nd
Christmas!
I would have to say it is Christmas. I love making special things to give as presents for the people that I care about. It is so much fun to watch their faces when they open a home made gift from me, especially when they reply “You made this”. I love the Christmas lights, the holiday music, the festive foods and all the traditions that go with Christmas. But most of all, I love the fact that my family gets together and makes more memories.
i LOVE ALL HOLIDAYS, ITS AN EXCITING TIME TO SPEND WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS, PLUS CROCHET ALL THE FUN THINGS TO DO WITH EACH HOLIDAY. i <3 ALL XXXX
My favorite holiday would be Christmas! The decorations, music, the feeling of family and friends gathering together. I hope to be able to crochet gifts for everyone on my list this year!
Christmas. Love all the ornaments and decorations.
I love thanksgiving ,no one works and you get to eat food all day
Halloween and Thanksgiving are awesome times with all the wonderful colors, but the celebration of Christmas is tops with all the wonder, glitz made better if it snows just a little Christmas Eve giving the world a silent blanket of white! Hard to choose but they’re my favs.
Christmas
I choose Christmas….I love to decorate the home…give gifts that I have made….bake with the grandkids…celebrate with friends and family…..Its all about love!
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. The smell of the house as the meal is cooking, the sound of my grandchildren playing and my kids as the tease each other and the stories they tell. My husband was diagonsised with stage 4 brain cancer and was unable to do the things that he normal could do with ease so the kids and grandchildren got together on the special holiday and made the house ready for the winter. I make hat, stocking, and mittens for the grandchildren and give them as they usually spend Chritmas at home. This was a very special holiday as the family got to spend time together that we will cherish forever.
In our family our favorite has always been Thanksgiving. We have a very big family all grown with families of their own and everyone one tries to make it home. We spend the day cooking together. Each family has a family favorite that they make and contribute. It is a fun wonderful family get together.
I love working with Christmas colors. Something about them makes me joyful. But I always Liked Halloween because people were nice to complete strangers.
Christmas!
Easter…I always feel blessed and special during that day as it represents a love so amazing and an epic sacrifice this world will never see again. Easter renews my heart and soul and gives me a more loving feeling toward everyone else.
Yes! Easter is my favorite too!
JOY TO THE WORLD , JUST THE THOUGHT OF CHRISTMAS MAKES ME HAPPY ! I LOVE THE MERRIMENT AND THE MEANING OF CHRISTMAS , I AM ALWAYS THANKFUL FOR THAT ! IT’S A WONDERFUL LIFE ….
Love knitting all year round, more at Christmas time, since this is time of giving love trying different patterns, love knitting for babies. Especially for my grandchildren, who will always have something to remember me by.
As I get older, I love Thanksgiving more every year. We get together with friends and family and enjoy great foods without the hustle of trying to get the perfect gifts. I love decorating with vibrant fall colors.
My favourite holiday would have to be New Years day. A new start every year!
Christmas of course! My family always made the Christmas holidays important with time spent at church, time spent with extended family, and lots of food. It was always the most enjoyable time of the year.
Would love to win that!
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. So much family, sharing and gratitude.
I love knitting with all the fall colors and giving things to those who enjoy them.
Such a warm holiday, too, with all the spicy smells and pumpkin pie!
I love Thanksgiving. A time to be gratefull for everything we have.
My favorite holiday is also Christmas . I love making my family and friends things by hand. They are things they have kept for years. It’s the true spirit of the holiday and family.
I have to say as a mom of 6 Christmas has to be my favorite holiday. Seeing my children’s faces when the open the gifts is the best goft a parent could ever receive. Financially stressful bit all worth it in the end 🙂
Christmas, of course!!
Christmas is my favorite holiday.

I love Christmas though Thanksgiving is right there behind it. I love the family getting together and having a good time together.
I love halloween! It’s the only time you get to be someone other than yourself.
Christmas would have to be my number one holiday because most everyone is given time off from work/school and that means more family-time.
Thanksgiving always holds special memories for me. Huge tables with several generations of family all around…first at my Grandmother’s home, then at my sister-in-law’s home, later at our home and finally at our children’s homes. Lots of good food, board games, puzzles and fun. Just enjoying being together.
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday! I love that the entire family gathers together and remember all the times we had growing up and watch our kids enjoyong the same traditions we had as young children
Thanksgiving, as I love the wonderful smells associated with pumpkin, turkey, and dressing!
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. It’s all about family and food. No gifts to worry about just a relaxing day with family and football , maybe.
Thanksgiving is the best ever. Love the variety of main dishes, vegetables and desserts. So much fun hearing what everyone is thankful for, especially the little ones, they have some wild stories sometimes and also some sad ones.
I love Christmas. I love making presents for everyone and seeing their reactions when they open them. I love decorating my house, baking cookies, and relaxing with my husband and son. I love visiting with out of town family and seeing people that I may not have seen all year. I’m one of those people who wants the Christmas season to last all year. =)
Christmas is my favorite holiday because my parents always made it special, even when the money for presents was short. One year when I was about 7 or 8, my Mother sewed a whole wardrobe of clothes for my Terri Lee doll – – all by hand because she didn’t have a sewing machine. I’m 71 and I still have the doll and the clothes. I try to make Christmas fun and exciting for our kids and grandkids now!
christmas is by far my favorite holiday. Having all my 8 kids under the same roof is a gift from above. All our traditions make the day amazing. This year I am trying to knit all my presents
Christmas is my favorite holiday the kids with presents the smell of wonderful food the lights twinkling the family all together the pure happiness of it all just smile thinking of it.
Halloween is a favorite holiday of mine because I love the creativity and endless possibilities of what costumes my kids and I will wear. I love making my own costumes and then preserve the best ones for future generations! Always a crafter at heart!
I love Easter. The promise of life and hope are beautiful. It’s less stressful than Christmas and Thanksgiving with the same amount of family love. Seems like we have more time to relax.
Yes, I totally agree with you Traci!
Easter holidays are great.
I love Christmas with all the family traditions carried down over the years. Family get togethers and celebrating the birth of Our savior top the list for me.
I love the colors of the fall, season, starting with the changing colors of the trees all the way to Thanksgiving with friends and family…..Most of my projects reflect the wonderful colors of that time of year…nothing better than hot chocolate or tea, a good book, and snuggling under a handmade afghan!
i love Christmas. It is so exciting for children and a great time to be together with family and friends.
I love Easter. All the crocus and daffodils blooming and everything seems so green and fresh. The air smells good and the house can be opened for the breezes. Everything becomes easier and lighter again.
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. My folks come up from NM and my sister comes over from FL. It’s the one time each year that the whole family is together, and it’s really magical!
My favorite holiday is Labor Day. Surprising right!? Not really, it’s the weekend I plan out all my projects for gifts for Christmas.
My favorite holiday is New Year’s Day! It is a time to relax after the hectic Christmas season. Watch a bowl game (if the Badgers are playing) and pull out a project or two from the bedrooms or closets that they were stuffed into before the holidays.
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I look forward to the traditional dishes and getting the whole family together.
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving! I love all the food we make and the fall season and family get together. And if I am reaching Thanksgiving I know I only have a few weeks left to get my presents made!
My favorite holiday had to be Christmas because I adore being able to make beautiful and meaningful presents for everyone I love.
My favorite holiday is Christmas because I like the Christmas music, decorations, food.
Christmas is my favourite holiday because it brings our whole family together under one roof.
Oh, Christmas for sure. I love to make gifts for everyone. I especially enjoy making stocking caps for the Indian Lakota youth in the Dakotas.
Christmas, Christmas and did I mention Christmas? lol I love Christmas, because for me it isn’t just 1 day, Christmas is the entire month of December. For the whole month there are so many activities and get together opportunities to spend time with your family and friends.
I love halloween and christmas, but I think halloween is my favorite, at least until November 🙂
I like Thanksgiving the best. It’s a busy day with a local road race.
I love the 4th of July, because I like to crochet red ,white, and blue.
I love them all, but I guess Halloween would be my favorite.
i LOVE Christmas! Something about watching children, all excited about “Christmas magic”. It makes everything you do to prepare for the holidays so worth it. I always share old memories about when I was a kid with my grandkids, they think its so funny to hear about when I was a kid. Don’t forget Polar Express! What a wonderful movie! It’s all about the spirit!
Christmas definitely ranks first because of the music, traditions, food, family times together in celebration of Christ’s birth.
my favorite hobby right now is making home decor myself, I have a new home that needs decorations and its so expensive to buy! i love crafty things 🙂
Christmas is my favourite holiday. A lot of my decorations are very special, handmade or given to me by someone close. I love looking at each one and remembering where my family was living and the people I was close to at the time. Then I put them on the tree, one by one, and enjoy all of these treasures for the season.
I love Christmas the most!! And I love to crochet for Christmas!!
Christmas of course, our savoir is born!!!!!!!!!
Christmas is my favorite holiday, with us celebrating with our families and we all celebrate for he is the reason for season, out savior was born!
My favorite holiday is Christmas, when the family gathers from near and far to celebrate together. The traditions are passed down to the newer generations, and laughter and love fill the house.
My favorite would be all of them, especially if I’m cooking! At Christmas, I am overwhelmed, but I do enjoy it. But most holidays my mom and I make crafts, mostly to give away. Nothing like homemade gifts!
Christmas is my favourite time as I then get to give all the articles that I have knit to family and friends.
Christmas, the complete joy and awe in my grandchildren’s faces.
Christmas is when most of the family comes together. Since most live in other states it is always difficult to get us all together. we merge old and new traditions every year. We cook old favorites and try new dishes, every one has a hand in the celebrations
Absolutely Christmas! Christmas eve is actually the best. All the grand babies excitement, the lights, the laughter…..
thankesgiving is my favorite holiday. a time to give thanks for all things big and small.
Christmas is my favorite holiday…All my children and grand children come home. The looks on the little kids faces are priceless when they open the handmade gifts from grandma!!!
This looks awesome. I would love to win.
Going to go against the grain and say Halloween!
I enjoy all the holidays as it usually gives me the chance to spend time with family and friends. If I have to choose 1 holiday it would be Thanksgiving because we like to share what we are thankful for and the whole family gets together for games, food and lots of laughs!
I love Christmas because I love making crafts for family and friends!
Forgot to answer the question. My favorite holiday is St Patricks Day. It was supposed to be my birthday but I held out till the 19 th my brother-in-law’s bday is the 18 th so it is a happy time of year for us. Really makes me think of spring.
My favorite holiday is the 4th of July! The warm summer evenings and the whole town celebrating with fireworks.
It seems that I always look forward to Thanksgiving, but it really depends on what month it is as to my favorite.
My favorite holiday is actually April Fool’s Day. Always has been. I’m a practical jokester at heart, and I feel like it sets me apart from others and makes me slightly unique.
Christmas
Oh wow I can only pick 1?!?!?!?!?
My 2 favorite holidays are Halloween & Christmas. My boys and I always go all out for the holidays but especially these 2. If I have to pick one I would say ……..Christmas
Halloween! You can be anything / anyone you want for one day! 😀
I don’t have a favorite specific holiday. I love the holiday season starting at Halloween and ending with New Years. It’s a time for giving thanks, enjoying family, and giving to those less fortunate. It’s also a time for hot chocolate, going to festivals, pumpkin patches, turkey, and overall just the best time of the year.
Being in a military family, we’ve learned that holidays with friends are as special as those with family. For Canadian Thanksgiving, we camp with a bunch of other military families a our local KOA, who host Halloween celebrations on Saturday night and a potluck Thanksgiving supper on Sunday for the whole campground.
I’d have to say Christmas. As a child, I only got toys on Christmas. So I always looked forward to that and going to church to see and hear the Christmas program. I guess it just stuck.
I love Halloween. My favorite color is orange and I just love all the black and orange at this time of year.
My favorite holiday is Christmas. Family, friends, decorations and the perfect time to give some of my crafty gifts. Love it.
Christmas I love to make snowflakes they are my favorite I attach to presents and my family love them and always ask for more.
O my, I celebrate every holiday including Ground Hog’s day! I raised 5 children and now am blessed with 3 in law children and 2 grandkids. As many as can come together on Sundays after church for Sunday dinner, I set the table for the holiday or season. The kids love to see the table scape of the day!
But, if I must choose 1 holiday, it would be Christmas .
Oh my. I’m stuck between Christmas and the 4th of July. If I had to choose then ?Christmas. We celebrate the birth of Jesus and have all the decor and I love the lights and the food and Christmas music.
My favorite holiday is Christmas. I had to ask my husband about this because Thanksgiving is a real close second. This year Christmas is special because i spent the past year in the hospital trying to find out what was wrong with me. Thankfully the condition has been caught at the early stages and I am responding to treatment- it is a rare condition that is normally not found until the later stages. It is not a cancer, thankfully. Husband says Christmas is where my “yarn” work shines. Gifts, decorations, and whatever else you can do with yarn has been done in the 35 years we have been married. He has come to expect something handmade from me and is disappointed if there isn’t anything there.
My favorite holiday is Christmas.
Christmas is my favorite holiday. Love the beautiful lights, the Christmas carols and my favorite movie, “Miracle on 34th Street”. With family and friends gathered and of course celebrating the birth of the baby Jesus.
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. It was the one holiday when we were sure to have a full house of friends amd relatives. Football, family, turkey and blessings.
Christmas, it’s one of the few times of the year where we get to see our whole family! I love seeing the happiness in my kids faces chratmas morning. The excitement of playing santa, the smell of the cookies, tree, and the candles! Getting to see my kids having a great time with family they don’t get to see often! I could go on forever on why Christmas is my favorite Holliday!
Christmas. ;o)
My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love the family gathering and the grandchildren being all excited. I also like to reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. Without the birth of Jesus there would be no holiday as Christmas.
Christmas is my favorite holiday. It is a time to reflect on family and friends. I always think of my mother because it was her favorite time of the year (and miss her greatly) and review wonderful memories of Christmas’ past with family now departed. Then it’s time to make new memories with new friends! I also get an excuse to make snowflakes, whether to decorate my home or to give away!
My favorite holiday ia any holiday where my entire family is there to celebrate together with love, laughter, and great food of course.
Christmas is my favorite holiday because of all that it represents. Christmas traditions, decorations, gatherings, crafts and family. Christmas is always big at our home.
Christmas is my. favorite Holliday. I love time with family.
July 4th, perfect time of year to gather with family and friends. Food, fun, and hundreds of ways to make this the best holiday for young and old. Ending with Fireworks, making this the best Holiday ever, joy for the little ones, and a time to reflect for the older ones…Happy Birthday America.
Christmas and Halloween tie as my favorite holidays. I love Christmas because of all the time spent with family. I love Halloween because it is just plain fun.
Definitely Halloween! Trick r treating with my kids are some of my favorite memories 😉
That’s easy it’s Halloween, followed close by Christmas!
Halloween!
My favorite holiday is Christmas. It’s when the family will all get together for a good meal and some catching up
I love all the holidays, but my favorite is when my whole family can get together and share food, family, & all the love we can give. It doesn’t have to be a marked holiday, even though those are great, my family consists of my best friends, brothers & all our children & anytime we get together its a holiday.
Christmas where I can give away all my crocheted projects to the needy and my friends.
Thanksgiving, the food, the get-togethers, and the idea of thanking everyone for all they do.
My favorite holiday is Christmas because it brings family and friends together and sharing a closeness and love you seldom find at any other time of the year and celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior.
Valentine’s Day, because everything is Pink & White & Red. It’s so pretty & romantic!
CHRISTMAS! That’s my favourite holiday of all! Christmas tree and Carols. Santa Claus.
My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love having the tree up with all the family ornaments decorating it. I love decorating my house, but most of all, I love seeing my kids’ eyes light up on Christmas morning — that is the best feeling ever!
I love Christmas. This is the time of year for Hot Chocolate and warm blankets. I make a lot of scarfes and slippers this time year. Family and friends look forward to the gifts I make and give away.
Christmas!
I dont really have a favorite but if I had to choose it would be Easter because it is so much fun to watch the kids run all over the house trying to find all the goodies the easter bunny left hidden behind curtains and plants etc.
Is Christmas the time to spend with family form new memories cherish each other just be with the people you love and the people that loves you
But i also love three Kings day wich is on January 6 the meaning to it wich is our Christ our Lord and Savior who came to us and we celebrate him.
Christmas. I love to decorate for Christmas and send out Christmas cards.
I would have to say that Halloween is my favorite holiday. Carving the pumpkin was always so much fun with our children.
My favorite holiay is a difficult choice because I was born on the 4th of July and married on New Year’s Day. However, I would have to say that right now my favorite holiday would have to be Christmas. Mostly for religious reasons, but also because my Granddaughter will turn 2 in January and it’s so much fun to watch children during the Christmas holiday. Would love to win this prize package and make something really special for her. Thank-you for this chance.
I would say Christmas because I get to see my whole family. Second choice, Easter for the same reason plus we go to the my sister’s who ownes a maple syrup factory.
Christmas! I love to decorate my home with all the wonderful sparkly things I’ve collected over the years. Family and friends are the centre of the holiday and the extra time we get to spend together is so special.
My favorite holiday has to be Halloween
I like Halloween….the change of seasons, no relatives or relative drama, and you get to eat candy!
I have always thought Christmas was my favorite holiday until my son served in the Army in Iraq. Now my favorite holiday has to be either Veteran’s Day or Memorial Day. Go, red white and blue!
Christmas is a favorite holiday with our family. It is a perfect time to share the blessings God has given us. We enjoy planning secret surprises for some in our community who are sometimes overlooked. Yes, it will include a needy family, but also the man or woman who may not be financially needy, but are alone and need to know someone remembers them and appreciates them. Or someone who may have family, but who need a special encouragement.
My favorite holiday is New Year’s. The holiday signifies starting anew. We can reflect on the past year. I tend to look at the previous year and reflect on all the crochet projects I have made for gifts and for fun. The New Year holiday lets me begin to look ahead to the exciting new things I will create and share with friends, family, and loved ones. It adds a lot of excitement and offers a brief break as I begin to plan for the upcoming year.
CHRISTMAS!! Cuz it’s also my BIRTHDAY!! And I married the right guy – he gets me presents for both ‘holidays’ and celebrates them separately – with my family and his. It’s a great day every year!
Fourth of July is my favorite holiday! Our extended family relaxes and enjoys each other’s company (preferably at a lake or the ocean ) without outside commitments and pressures.
Christmas and Thanksgiving close behind. They are the holidays where everything stops for a day and I get to look around at this amazing life I have with my beautiful family. Every year we sing and dance as we cook (seriously we do!), snuggle together as we play games, watch the parade or watching the big game of the day. It’s peaceful and rewarding. Since are daughters are all in their 20’s this year and on their own we decided to go with a more traditional old fashioned Christmas. We are having a “homemade” Christmas. One gift to each person that is a homemade gift. I thought it would be easy but finding that one perfect personal gift has proved challenging. 3 down and 2 to go! Happy holidays!
Easter is my favorite holiday because each year we are reminded how God gave up for us…it makes us realize no struggle we are going through is alone…Carol Sue Brill
I love Christmas! There are so many beautiful crafts to make and delicious recipes to bake!
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because the true meaning has not yet been lost. It is still about family and friends and being thankful what you have. It has not been commercialized by the large retailers because they are so intent on Christmas. At which time I love fooling the big retailers by making my gifts instead of buying them because it means so much more!
I couldn’t have said it better.
I would really love to win. This prize is awesome.
After the stress and frantic pace of the pre-holiday weeks, I think my favorite day is Christmas Eve. After all the flurry of preparation, the quietness of the night is a gentle reminder of what the Season is (should be) all about. Peaceful, hopeful, serene. The promise of new life, new beginnings, and the excitement and anticipation of sharing little carefully planned treasures with friends and family……………………in my case, most of which were being worked on in the Summer months! It represents a renewed spirit and deep & abiding gratefulness of all my blessings to me.
Christmas was always my favorite holiday as a child and now that I have children of my own who are just getting old enough to understand Christmas and Santa Claus and presents it is my favorite again watching their excitement
Christmas is my favorite holiday because it gives me an opportunity to enjoy my grandchildren
and the joy on their faces.
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because the true meaning has not yet been lost. It is still about family and friends and being thankful for what you have. It has not been commercialized by the large retailers because they are so intent on Christmas. At which time I love fooling the big retailers by making my gifts instead of buying them because it means so much more!
I really don’t have a favorite I guess, I love any special day that brings loved ones together for special memories and fun times.
Christmas! I started a new “tradition” 3 years ago. I crochet or knit a Christmas afghan. Then at my family’s Christmas dinner, I have each couple’s name on a slip of paper in a Christmas bag. One name is pulled out and that couple get the new Christmas afghan!
I love Christmas with all the family but have to say Halloween is my favorite. Love to see all the kids in their costumes and love to decorate for it 🙂
I love Thanksgiving. First of all, it’s the best food holiday of the year, by far. Lol. But mostly I love it because it’s a family holiday with no gifts!! I love presents as much as the next person, but all the shopping (and the spending) that goes along with it are exhausting and stressful. Plus, I love the tradition of everyone saying what they’re most thankful for. I always feel so blessed after that.
My favorite holiday is Christmas – beautiful music, special foods, and best of all, to celebrate the birth of our Savior!
My favorite is Easter. Spring is blooming, the grandkids are excited about coloring eggs and the Easter Bunny and it is a time for a renewal of faith.
I would have to say Christmas with all the decorations, snow, and lights. And of course the fun projects and the joy on little kids faces.
The Fourth of July is my favorite holiday. It happens to be my Dad’s birthday and he loves fireworks and food! So we grill burgers, eat potato salad and apple pie– ala mode of course!
My favorite time of the year is Christmas because of the festive season and the beautiful decorations and the most important birthday of the year. The colors of the lights is such wonderful idea for crocheting a blanket in all the different colors. I also love the snow.
Christmas! Love all the decorations, lights and time u get to spend with my family!
All of the holidays are my favorite!! Three of my children live away from home, Christmas they all come to my house, Thanksgiving we go to my daughter’s home who lives close and the rest are spent traveling to one of the other three! So for me each holiday is somewhere different with loved ones!! Having grandchildren make the holidays even more fun!!
I Love Valentines Day! My husband and I take a week off from work and enjoy just spending time with each other. We have five kids and and going to be thirteen grandkids so we usually don’t have much money but plenty of Love….What a neat giveaway.
Christmas is my favorite holiday. I like making (crocheting) items to give to family & friends as gifts .
I love the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas- not just the holidays but all the crafting in between- trying to get Christmas knitting and crochet projects done in time, wrapped, mailed, the tree decorated and the goodies baked! I love Christmas Mass, but I also love Thanksgiving dinner, family and friends around, watching football and the smells of home cooking! Okay, now you have got me longing for the holidays to get here! Must go craft now!!!!
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. Good food, Good company and plenty of laughs.
I love Christmas and I love hand making things for all my family and friends xxx
Thanksgiving
I love all holidays. I make rabbits for Easter, stockings for Christmas, you name it and I will try to make it if it is holiday related.
Halloween my favorite! Although I do love the other holidays too!!
Christmas is my favorite holiday. I don’t like to celebrate holidays, but for the grandchildren, I participate. I make holiday decorations for my daughter for Christmas and Halloween (her favorite) as well as seasonal decorations.
My favorite holiday is Christmas!
Christmas is my favorite holiday. First because it represents Jesus birth. Secondly, because of time together as a family, the decorations, food. It is a joy to see, even grown children opening gifts, still some homemade. I have a crocheted angel tree topper that reflects the announcement of Jesus birth as well as serves as a reminder of my love for crocheting.
Christmas wins it for me, hands down!
My favorite holiday would have to be Christmas! No matter what, I always look forward to seeing the looks on my kid’s faces on the morning of Christmas! I also enjoy all the prepping, cooking, and decorations we all do as a family.
Well i’m going to join all the other bloggers in saying that Christmas has to be a favorite Holiday for me and all my family and close friends. My husband had to add on to our house so that we could accommodate two married children, ten grand kids and one great grandson and extended family and close friends! We all gather on the 25th for food and gifts and a warm nice time! Thank You for the opportunity to enter this giveaway!
I hate to admit it, but my favorite “holiday” is my birthday!!! Which falls within Yarn Week. But, most of my knitting and crocheting is for gifts for friends at Christmas.
I love the end and beginning of a season, so I like Labor Day. You have the ending of the summer and the beginning of fall. Cooler nights and warm days. Its great.
Any holiday when my entire family can get together, whether an “official” holiday or just a family dinner that we “make” a holiday
My favorite holiday is Christmas. I especially love making crocheted gifts to give to my family.
Christmas! It’s the one time of year I get to see all of my family.
My favorite holiday is Halloween.
I really enjoy crocheting kitty ears to wear as a costume and my skull beanies are really a hit with all the guys. I have also crocheted a minecraft creeper beanie or two. 😀
I love all holidays and love to decorate, but I guess I would have to say Christmas is my favorite. I really enjoying finding new items to make for family and friends.
I love all holidays, but I must say Christmas. I love to see the smiles and surprised looks on their faces Christmas morning.
Thanksgiving. I am thankful for all that God hath wrought.
Very hard to choose, but, like many others, Christmas is a very special time of year. Love spending time with grandkids and friends .. particularly love all the decorations and walks in fresh snow! Won’t be long now!! Thanks for the chance to win this great prize!
My favorite holiday is a loved one’s birthday. Making something unique tells that person how special they are to me. I count every stitch as a prayer for that person.
Thanksgiving. Lots of family without the stress of Christmas.
I love christmas everything is bright and jolly
My favorite holiday is Christmas. It gives me more opportunities to learn new crafts and explore different needleworking. Then, when done, I have a gift for a favorite relative or friend.
My favorite season definitely are thanksgiving and Christmas, I love the colors on each, love in everything, especially all decoration in both, love these seasons because is the perfect for family time.
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. Our family has a number of traditions that start around Thanksgiving, and it’s the start to the Christmas season. Decorating for Christmas is one of our favorite things to do! (And it kicks my crafting into high gear!)
Christmas! I love the gift of giving more than getting. The look on other peoples faces when they open gifts is so rewarding. Regardless of the price, shape or size of the gift, they are always full of joy. I am not one to expect a ton of gifts as I would rather share with the ones around me or support a family who cannot enjoy Christmas as much as everyone else. Getting someone that perfect gift or just something to make them smile is what it’s all about. Spending the time with family and friends is the only gift needed!
Christmas is my favorite holiday to make projects and gifts for home and family.
My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love the smells and the lights. I love that my kids are out of school and I love knitting cozy accessories for them to wear when it’s cold.
Have a different favorite at the end of each year!
Christmas. There’s so much to do, decorations to make, gifts to make. It’s a crafter’s paradise!
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving because it’s all about being together as a family and being thankful for each other while enjoying a delicious meal together, what’s better than that?!
My favorite holiday is chanukah. 8 nights of smiles from family. Good food, good times
Easter I love what it stands for and the beautiful colors that you use to crochet with at this time
Christmas is my favorite holiday. I have started a tradition of Christmas trees for my daughters. They each have a table top tree that they place in their room. Each day in December I do my best to make them small knit or crochet ornaments for their trees every day.
I’m so weird, but I love Halloween. I’ve been on stage or acting in some capacity since the 6th grade, so any excuse to dress up works for me! 😉 Christmas and Thanksgiving are also at the top of the list, but 4th of July would have to be my 2nd favorite because my mother-in-law throws the best backyard picnic parties. 🙂
My favorite is Memorial Day! And every 4 years it lands on my birthday. The unofficial beginning of summer.
Christmas is my favorite!
Christmas is my favorite holiday. Especially now that I have grandchildren to experience the joy with.
Christmas is my favorite as I get to spend time with my children and grandchildren. I am also looking forward to lots of crocheted gifts this year. I just got back into crocheting and knitting and enjoy making things for my granddaughter’s baby dolls and for them. The daughter-in-laws will get dish and wash cloths. May even make some crocheted ornaments this year thanks to all the fabulous patterns on here. Thank you!
Christmas hands down is my favorite holiday!……..I always love giving but this time of the year brings it out more.
Favorite holiday for me has got to be Easter. Where else can you use all those beautiful pastel yarns! It’s the holiday that really brings everyone out of the winter doldrums and tells us spring is near.
Christmas is my favorite Holiday. All the houses
and stores are decorated so beautifully. Folks
are in good mood.
Just one???? I will have to say Halloween. It makes my sweet tooth happy and I just love the time of year when it starts to cool off and holiday season starts.

I love all Holidays but Christmas in particular. I love celebrating the birth of Jesus. I also love spending the time with my family. I am a beginner at crochet and plan to make lots of gifts this year.
Halloween is my favorite holiday. It’s the only one that I celebrate.
Any time spent with my loved ones is precious! Xx
Christmas would be my first choice because of celebrating the birth of Jesus. It is also a time when I can share the things I make with others. A close second would be Easter celebrating the Resurrection and New Life
My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. My husband’s parents (whom I adore) and his sister and her husband come to town from New Mexico and Florida, respectively! It’s the one time of year we see his sister and her husband, and it’s the only time each year that we’re all together. Then my mom is here, and we usually see my brother and his family!
It’s one of the very few holidays that aren’t about gifts or money or anything, it’s just about having a good meal with the people you love, and being thankful for everything you have! (I also don’t go Black Friday shopping, because just one day prior everyone was thankful for what they had, but come Friday, people will shove and hit to get the newest *whatever* it is they “need.” I stay home, visit more with family, and have leftover turkey sandwiches!)
I really can not say I have a favorite holiday. Because, everyday is a holiday when I am able to crochet a gift for those in need…like the homeless or those grieving the loss of a loved one on any given day. I am just delighted to put a warm smile on someones face
I have always loved Halloween which is coming up this month and i also love fall the cool air and beauty of the turning leaves. Can’t wait i am so excited.

Canada Day. I love the fireworks, barbeques, picnics and all the fun we have at the lake house. Flag waving like the proud Canadians we are. Campfire roasted hot dogs and potato salads. It’s great.
Any holiday is my favorite. More time to knit. 🙂
I just want to use all the yarn I have. Or soon I will be able to open my own store. Thanks for the patterns. They really help.
I love labor day! A chance to spend the last official day of summer with family and friends!
Any day my family is around me and we are sharing our blessings is a holiday for me. I guess if I had to pick just one holiday though it would be Thanksgiving where we are thankful for all our blessings. Christmas is a photo-finish second, however, for the decorations, gifts and friends and family.
any birthday in my family is my favorite
Thanksgiving. I just love eating turkey dinner.
My family celebrates the holiday just a little differently, coming together on the Winter Solstice for feasting and gifting. It’s the longest night of the year, and a sweet time to spend with family and friends.
My favorite holiday would definitely be Christmas
Made the skeleton beanie for my girlfriends grandson and needed something similar for my granddaughter for Halloween. Both of them are 13 and take the younger kids out for candy but don’t want to dress up anymore. I think this will be just right to wear. Getting started on the poncho today.
Valentine’s Day! Love the reds/pinks and hearts! Day of love!
Christmas. It’s the time when all or at least most of the family is together.
Christmas! There are so many great patterns at Christmas. Gifts, ornaments, decor! So much fun!
My favorite holiday is Christmas. For me it’s the giving. Don’t get me wrong I love getting but giving is from the heart. I was doing my weekly shopping last year close to Christmas and at the checkout stand this little girl walked up to me and handed me a gift card and said “Merry Christmas”. The innocence of the giving was awesome and it brought tears to my eyes. This is what I believe it’s all about.
Along with the rest, my favorite holiday is Christmas. My grown children, my 12 year old son, and my grandchildren all know that I still believe in Santa. The light I see in the eyes of the little ones as they open gifts and the smiles on their sweet faces, the excitement causing their little bodies to tremble is all the presents I will ever need or want. The spirit of Santa is very much alive in our home.
Definitely Christmas so many beautiful projects to make. I do Christmas year round.
I love making gifts for my grandkids. And it how I unwine after work is by making blankets and stuff. That I give away to others.

They all put in a style request each year and I make multiple things that fit that idea and they always just love them, which warms my heart 🙂 Made with love in every stitch.
Easter, The love of flowers and new life everywhere.
Wow, hard question. Like asking me to pick my favorite child. I love all holidays because that means the family always try to get together in feast & celebration. Being able to be with family and loved ones always makes my heart smile. Especially since my kids are all grown and gone with kids & grand kids of their own now. But if I have to pick one it would be Christmas. Watching the excitement of all the little ones is just so heart warming. Plus I love all the beautiful lights and greenery. People seem to be a lot more friendlier also!
Christmas is my favorite since the family is normally all together.
My favorite holiday is Christmas. I like it because it brings family together on Jesus Christ’s birthday. Jesus is the reason for the season.
Thanksgiving! I love getting together with my family.
Christmas because I like to make everyone gifts
Christmas is my favorite holiday! Celebrating the birth of Jesus is so special.
Any Holiday when we can all get together. We used to have many of them but it has gotten harder and harder to get the whole family together. My husband and I are both 70 and find it harder to get together with our children and 7 grandsons. I love Christmas when I can knit or crochet something special for all of my family and friends
My favorite holiday is Easter. I love the religious aspects… rejoicing in the risen Savoir, who gave His life for our Salvation but I also love the newness of the time of year, new Spring flowers, leaves and grass turning green. The newness of it all.
I love Christmas, the family and friends get togethers, the festivities, and being able to gift knitted items.

My favorite holiday is Christmas. As I grow older the reason for the season means more.
Christmas. The season means more now than it did earlier in my life.
Thanksgiving
Christmas! So many ways to show you love someone with a handmade gift.
I love Christmas because we celebrate #1 we celebrate JESUS birthday #2 we get together with family and friends, some we haven’t seen in a while! #3 we eat a lot of good food #4 we give and receive presents! What a joyful day!!!
Christmas is my favorite holiday because I love to give my loved ones gifts! Speaking of which, I have to get busy with this year’s presents! 🙂
Definitely Christmas!
Thanksgiving! The traditional foods that are always the same and all our my favorites. The weather here in MN is likely to be somewhat mild and very seldom hinder travel plans. With no gifts involved it is so much more relaxed and gives our family a chance to talk and have a good time.
I love Thanksgiving because every 4 years my birthday is on Thanksgiving and because we celebrate my birthday EVERY Thanksgiving.
Right now I am making crochet Flip-Flops and cowboy booties for some future babies in the family. Lately I have been making small infant blankets (knit and crochet) for a group that helps low income first time mothers.
Christmas, I’m off work for a week or more, travel is over for the year, and lots of family and friends.
Christmas, for sure. It’s all about family and homemade gifts. Instead of buying gifts for each other we are making a homemade gift and exchanging them. We are also going to spend a couple of days together, where it’s just the entire family. Not material store bought stuff, but homemade with love from the heart gifts!
I would say Halloween, because I have a sweet tooth, my grandchildren share, and it’s my Birthday. I’m old enough, and who really wants to have another one.
I LOVE Christmas, I love decorating. The lights are my favorite, I love driving around everthing is so beautiful, and if there is snow that’s even better., Looking at the line of children waiting to talk to Santa.
Absolutely Christmas! All the hustle and bustle and the heavenly smells of cookies, cakes, pies, breads, and of course, the turkey! So much commotion going on with all the kids unwrapping gifts, the laughter, and all the love!
My absolute favorite holiday is Christmas. I love to give gifts, especially homemade gifts. I love the look on each persons face when they open up their own personalized gift that I made for each of them. To me there is no better gift than a homemade one. Even the kids seem to really enjoy the crocheted gifts that I make. I try to make it something different each year and I haven’t had a complaint yet. I have had a couple of requests though!
One the best thing about crocheting all of my Christmas gifts is that I don’t have to go out on any of those crazy shopping days! The other thing…I get to work on them all year long so when Christmas time comes, I’m usually done or close to done so I don’t have the holiday stress. That comes when I make my Christmas Candy!
I love Thanksgiving. I was born on Thanksgiving, and it has always been my favorite holiday. When I was very small I thought all of the Thanksgiving celebration was for my birthday! I just love having family together and making the family favorite food that you only get to eat once a year.
My favourite holiday is every sunday when I get time to spend with my family.
I love Christmas because I get to make all kinds of crochet gifts for family and friends!
I would have to say Christmas… I have always enjoyed giving the people I love gifts… Even as a small child it was one of my favorite things to do…

Halloween!! I love the bumps in the night and the spoooooky koooooky goings on! There is so much you can make and give away. It’s also that time year that it starts getting cooler (in Ohio) and you start digging your fingers into your yarns to see about what “knots” you can get into! Just give me a giant tub filled with luxurious yarns and some hooks to crochet/knit them by any day. I guess when I really, really thing about it I LOVE YARN DAY IS MY FAVORITE HOLIDAY!!!!! I don’t have just one favorite holiday. I have a 3 yr old and she makes every holiday amazing. Her anticipation, her excitement and just the all around joy she gets with upcoming holidays makes them all great.
I have always loved Thanksgiving the best! The smells and the gathering of family and friends!
My favorite holiday would have to be Halloween! Not only is it so much fun to celebrate with my children, but it is the one day of the year where you can be anything that you want to be!
Choosing a favorite holiday is sort of like picking a favorite child…..they are all so special and loved….but I do really enjoy cooking and Thanksging allows me to prepare all the traditional favorites my family enjoys and see their pleasure and enjoy sharing stories and discussions of good Times…it is less stressful than other major holidays and the smells of roasting turkey are just so amazing!
CHRISTMAS is my favorite holiday. I love to decorate my home which begins the weekend after Thanksgiving and then it all comes down after the Feast of the Epiphany in early January. Over the years the decorations have changed as our children grew and moved on in their lives, but Christmas is still the favorite season in our home. I love planning the decorating, planning which Christmas cookies to make with aromas that fill the house, and then shopping and wrapping Christmas presents. Christmas dinner is also a huge part of the celebration when everyone comes and we are able to spend time enjoying each others company.
My favorite Holiday is Christmas. As much of a pain it is to shop for people, i love seeing everyones reactions as they get something that they had wanted or something that made them feel thought of. Having my family together for the holidays is heart warming.
Any holiday spent with the ones I Love! 🙂
Thanksgiving
Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love Christmas time…the lights, the tree, decorations…the cooking. The look on people’s faces when they open gifts! Plus the added bonus?? It’s colder, which makes it easier to crochet 🙂

Every since I was a little girl I have loved getting dressed up in creepy costumes and trick or treating with my mom and dad. Now that I’m older I love to be able to crochet cutesy costumes and spooky hats for my family and friends! 🙂
Christmas, but Easter is a close second.
My favorite holiday is definitely Christmas. It gives me projects to work on throughout the year to give as gifts.

Christmas and Thanksgiving! It is so important to spend time with family and both holidays are times you get off work and school to be with family. We have so much to be thankful for! 😀
Fourth of July…not for the fireworks and cookouts, although they are nice, but because of what it means for all of us. That we live in the greatest country in the world with the freedoms that we have. After that are Memorial Day and Veterans Day….God bless our soldiers! Christmas is both my most and least favorite holiday. I love the sights, sounds and smells of Christmas as well as gathering with family, but I don’t look forward to the 8 hour drive in iffy weather or the expenses.
My favorite holiday is Christmas. It is celebrated in rememberance of Jesus Christ, our Savior, being born into this world of sin. He came to save all of us.
Halloween is my favorite.

I love Easter. People start coming out of their cozy homes to praise God for the Risen Son. I love the budding flowers and all the fancy crocheted spring dresses and of course the wonderful food and time with family.
Easter, reminders of New Life, not only with spring itself, but of New Life because of the sacrifice Jesus made for us.

Although thanksgiving is my favorite because i love the fall & the colors/scents it brings… i cannot stick to just one holiday. I love them all because it’s the only time we all come together & spend it together as a family.
Family is important, because when all else fails, they will always be there to pick you up!

Christmas! The sights, sounds, and smells are the best! They make you feel all warm and fuzzy. Christmas also seems to make everyone happy!
I have a grandson now so to have a little one again for Christmas will be the best. He is a year and a half so this Christmas he will understand a little about it and I will be able to spoil him rotten with tons of gifts!!!!
My favorite holiday is definitely Christmas. A few years ago, when I was battling breast cancer and my two youngest kids were teenagers, they worked so hard to keep our usual family Christmas traditions (making fudge & cookies, putting up the decorations, stringing popcorn for the tree, etc.) because we were trying to have as normal of a life as possible. Since then, they make sure (as does my oldest child and her little boy) to be home as much as possible in early December as we start the annual traditions. My father passed away after an extended illness last year and my youngest called to tell me she was bringing Grandma up the first weekend in December so we couldn’t put up the tree until then. I know that regardless of what happens my kids feel a strong family bond that will continue long after I am gone!
My favourite holiday is definitely Christmas. I love everything about the holiday: family get togethers, decorating, food, gift giving and all the memories it creates. I especially enjoy attending the Christmas Eve service and listening to the beautiful Christmas music.
My fave holiday is Christmas. The joy of giving (and I admit, receiving too), the smell of all the yummies being shared, the lights, the beautiful tree and the joy I will see in our grandson’s eyes (he’s 2) when he sees the tree. Crocheting the little Santa outfit for our brand new granddaughter will be a blast and seeing her in it will be a kick!
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. It is all about celebrating the family and opening up the door to good times and good feeling for the up and coming Christmas season.
I love Christmas. I love to crochet hats and scarfs for friends and family to keep them cozy and warm.
My favorite holiday is probably I Love Yarn Day today – I might win this 🙂
The winter holiday (be it Christmas, Yule, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Festivus…) is great fun – picking out what to make for friends and family & get togethers for celebrating. It’s also the lead in to what’s become a tradition in our family – a week spent with friends at the beach, relaxing and knitting/crafting/quilting/reading/chatting.

And now as a grandmother, seeing my four grandsons experiences of the love, and magic. It truly is the holiday of love

I will be the odd person out. I LOVE Halloween. It’s dark, spooky and just plain fun. I love getting dressed up and answering the door for the little ghouls, ghosts and occasional princess
I have a hard time picking a favorite holiday because I see no point in celebrating sometimes. If I had to choose, I guess my favorite holiday would have to be the first day of spring (wait, can that be considered a holiday?). Spring is my favorite season, and that day gives way to warmer weather and a more positive outlook on life.
I like Christmas as my most favorite because it is the season of love and giving. I totally enjoy cooking and baking for the family during this time. It’s extra special to be surrounded by the grandchildren when they have time off from school.

My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving! Every year our family gets together for a meal and football. It’s one of the few times we all gather together. We give thanks and wish each other well.
I really like Christmas with all the decorations and stuff, but my favorite is Thanksgiving. Every year I am so thankful to be able to get together with family and enjoy one another’s company. I look around throughout the year and am amazed at all that I have to be thankful for and know that I am very blessed. What better way to celebrate than Thanksgiving for family!
Has to be Christmas. It is remembering the best gift of all. Christ’s birth. But also to be able to show love to others by crafting something special for them. The gift basket is beautiful. Someone will be very lucky.
My favorite holiday is my birthday. In our family birthdays are treated as your own special holiday. Favorite dinner is served. Choice of birthday cake is baked and decorated. Gifts and a big celebration is planned.
My favorite holiday is christmas because I can make lots of cool things for people in need and I love giving to the less.
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.
Thanksgiving is hands down my favorite holiday. The whole family gets together to enjoy each other and be thankful. We all cook together and just have a nice relaxing day.
My favorite used to be Thanksgiving, but since having kids it’s def Christmas. I love watching them enjoy themselves.
Halloween! I love decorating the house with my creations, mostly sewn but some crocheted. My husband and I were married 18 years ago as close to Halloween as we could get and our boys are introducing their children to our Halloween traditions.
My favorite holiday is Christmas
It’s really hard to pin point one favorite holiday. But for me from Thanksgiving on because you get to spend time with family and friends. I love to cook and I’m starting to hand the reins down to my girls (14 and 13). I’ve also handed the crochet reins down to them. This is a craft that my mother taught me and I love that my daughters love it also. We sometimes hold family crochet night and just sit and work on projects. Nights like these are my favorite, not only are we working on projects together but just the warm family time is the best.
4th of July! Fireworks and barbeque
Thanksgiving-It is the one day a year most of us remember to truly be thankful.
My favorite Holiday is Thanksgiving. We get together with our daughter son-inlaw and grand children for the day. The grandchildren are the best.
ALL holidays – it means I can spend more time with my family!
Christmas! I love Thanksgiving, but Christmas is when I crochet stockings and gifts for my famiky and friends. I started crocheting stockings for my family about 17 years ago. Now, I have made them for friends, for newlyweds, new babies… I really enjoy the tradition of Christmas stocking. I have probably made hundreds, as I also make mini ones for gift cards or for the tree. I am making one for a new great-niece. I have always used Red Heart yarn. It’s durability has lasted for years! Thanks!
New Years Day is one of my favorite. I can sit down and plan out what crafts I want to work on for the year. One of the quietest days for me. The start of the year and reflect back on last year. No major cooking.
I love Christmas because I get to give without the receivers feeling weird about it! I can make things for family, friends, strangers, and just say Merry Christmas, and their faces light up! Other times of the year, its awkward or questioned. It’s also when I get to see and spend time with people I may not have a chance to see the rest of the year. Happy Holidays everyone!
Christmas is definitely my favorite holiday. I love transforming the house on the weekend after Thanksgiving. We cut a tree and decorate it with ornaments that tell our life’s story. Such sweet memories!!
Thanksgiving! All the joys of Christmas being with those you love, but not the stress of gift-giving
Christmas is the holiday favored in our home. Loving all nature, a fresh Christmas Tree brought early on, fills the rooms with pine scent and fresher air. Creating a new ambience each holiday season tends to help, with recycling old energy and items – making room for green and red decorations, all colors and sparkles in between; Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years celebrations.
Sharing home made craft as gifts, buying special items, is inspirational, long ahead of the actual wrapping and designating gifts for specific folks. I love the newness of each season, with added decorations, giving away earlier or older decorations – keeping in mind the reason of the holiday is “remembering” others; in generosity, genuine human kindness, sharing of time – being at ones best. Also dressing up and keeping a positive attitude goes along with the energy of a special “time out” of the usual and mundane.
Mostly I love the special anticipation of children, whether from homes of prosperity or poverty, as youngness knows no limits in hope or happiness. The abundance of festival food – visits from cherished, yet unexpected folks – surprises each day, have brought many a fond remembrance and special gratitude for Christmas, actually.
For me, Christmas is the state of being real – loving the spirit, mind, body in a lucid manner, rather than just the body being the total realm. Believing holidays are like calendars in our mind’s eye; we have markers of important junctures – fulfillment or loss – holidays are times of collective celebration in individual and personal lives.
Thank you.
Again, Thank you for asking, hope you enjoy this day.

October is my favorite month not only because it’s my birth month but because the leaves start changing colors!
I love thanksgiving. I have Thanksgiving at my house with my family. I love the smell of turkey cooking and all the chaos that my family brings to the table. Lots of laughter.
My favorite holiday is definitely Christmas. It is the one time of year when we are able to set-aside time as a family to focus on what is most important.
My favorite holiday is Christmas. That is when everyone is around and we all are happy.
July 4th (Independence Day) is my favorite!
Thanksgiving! I love to celebrate everything I am thankful for and eat lots of turkey!
EASTER IS MY FAVORITE BECAUSE IT MEANS BEGINNING OF SPRING WHERE EVERYTHING IS STARTING FRESH AND NEW. THE BEAUTIFUL FLOWER COLORS, THEIR SMELL IN THE AIR. THE BONUS I’D THAT DAYS ARE LONGER WHICH MEANS MORE TIME TO CROCHET
Christmas and Halloween are my favorites
Thanksgiving! Growing up in a large family was great but hectic. Thanksgiving was the time we got together with all our relatives and just enjoyed being together. So many Thanksgivings were spent with relatives we only saw once a year… it was a special time! All my siblings have grown up and have families of their own, my mother has Alzheimer’s and doesn’t remember who we are and we just don’t spend time together like that anymore. I miss those Thanksgivings!
Christmas! Especially now that my son’s birthday is on the 21st!
