I just love chevron, don’t you? This Chevron Baby Blanket from 1 Dog Woof uses a corner-to-corner technique to work up these beautiful chevron stripes. ChiWei, the pattern’s creator, originally made this as a baby blanket and it would look so cute done up in baby pastels! However, I love the look of these bold colors on her armchair – I think this would be a great pattern to make a throw for your living room, as it’s a super simple way to add visual interest and tie your decor color scheme together. Whatever sort of crochet afghan you decide to make, it would be a great gift – for someone you know or for yourself!

I am disappointed there isn’t a written pattern for this Chevron crochet baby blanket. I know how to follow grafts but with never doing a corner to corner afghan or knowing how to do the stitch, it is impossible to do. I don’t like leaving a bad reply, but I can’t say this is a pattern at all, it’s just pictures and a story.
I am going to do a Google search for the Chevron stitch, or am I way off? Just not sure where to go from here??
I think that you be happy at Your Tuve . I did a beautiful Afghan with c2c With the Crochet Crow

I agree with Cheryl (May 8, 2016). I teach crochet but I could never teach this one looking at a picture. It’s a good story – but how about the pattern too, since it was advertised as a free pattern.
