Chilly Snowman Ornament Crochet Pattern

October 3, 2016 by Amanda Saladin

Hi everyone!  I’m Amanda, the blogger behind Designing Crochet and I’m here today to share my newest free pattern with you – a fun holiday ornament that’s sure to look great all season long.

snowman-main

This is the first pattern I’ve shared on Stitch and Unwind and I appreciate you taking the time to check out my work.  I’ve been running Designing Crochet since 2012, right after I started designing knit and crochet patterns.  I received a BS degree in Fashion Design ten years before that, but it suddenly clicked that my passion really was with yarn and I’ve been designing ever since.

My life really is crazy busy and I wouldn’t have it any other way.  Besides designing, I teach high school full-time (Nutrition and Fashion Design), have been married for over 13 years and have three amazing little boys under the age of 7!  Needless to say my little guys keep us on our toes all the time.

For publication I mostly design garments and accessories but I love to blog and share simple, quick patterns that provide near-instant gratification.  This little snowman ornament definitely fits the bill.  He works up quickly and is easy enough for someone new to crochet.  If you know how to work in the round you can make one of these in a snap.
