Hi folks! If I could, I would totally crochet all of the fun and Christmas-y crochet afghan patterns that I find. Wouldn’t you?
You should say “yes” because you love to crochet. And whether you’re in Texas or Illinois, everyone likes to cozy up for the holidays with a nice crocheted afghan. Those of you who know the feeling know what I’m talking about – there really isn’t anything like it. Those of you who don’t…well, it might be time to try out one of these Christmas crochet afghans.
Our collection, 62 Christmas Crochet Afghan Patterns will have you singing Christmas songs in no time. Holiday themed afghans just make me smile. When I crochet for the holidays, I feel like I’m crocheting the holiday spirit into every project I make. And the best part is that these afghans can be brought out year after year after year.
It was hard to do, but I picked out a couple of my favorites from this collection:
The Snowflake Afghan makes a bold statement which is why I chose it as my favorite. With white snowflakes against a dark blue background, this afghan reminds me of snow falling in the night. Other crocheters have suggested that hot pink yarn instead of the blue would make for a fun little girls’ blanket. I have to agree, but I still love this pattern the way it is.
The Christmas Wave Afghan is just so joyful! I love the sparkly yarn that this pattern uses for that extra bit of flair and Christmas magic. This pattern looks like yummy peppermint candy or Christmas cookie frosting. If you already know how to crochet a ripple pattern, then this pattern will be a breeze. If not, now is definitely the time to learn. Christmas themed ripple patterns are super popular and this collection has even more Christmas ripples for you to try.
