    I am in the middle of making a cardigan for myself and it would be nice to have something a little different on the edges instead of a normal expected edge.

    I always add a decorative border to the ends of scarves! I don’t like fringe – it looks so ragged after washing.

    Love to leave crochet borders on my afghans…do not like fringe edging….actually anything that calls for a fringe I add crochet edging.

    I just found a set of my grandmother’s pillowcases, so I’d add a border to them as she didn’t have the chance to do that.
