Get Cozy: Crochet Afghans and Slippers

June 7, 2013 by AllFreeCrochetAfghanPatterns

Here at AllFreeCrochetAfghanPatterns, we love our afghans – we really do. You could even say we’re obsessed about them. But, we do love other patterns. Especially if the patterns help us keep cozy. After all, why else do you crochet an afghan?

So we’re announcing our new collection of 15 Crochet Slippers, Baby Booties and Warm Afghans. With all kinds of afghan crochet patterns to crochet, these are by far the warmest and coziest patterns for afghans, crochet slippers, and baby booties. While afghans keep most of our body nice and toasty, these crochet slippers will help keep your toes warm too. Now all you need to crochet are some hats, gloves…

Anyway, before we get carried away by crocheting a full bodysuit or something, let’s take a sneak peek at our new collection!

15 Crochet Slippers, Baby Booties and Warm Afghans8-Bit Mario Blanket

8-Bit Mario Blanket – Kids will just love their very own 8-Bit Mario Blanket! Made by connecting various granny squares, the blanket looks like the pixelated Mario from the original Super Mario Bros. game. Using this pattern, you could also make a matching Luigi blanket as well. Since this afghan is so large, it’s bound to keep you warm while you sit and watch TV with your kids.

Chunky Adult Slippers – Learn how to crochet an adorable pair of Chunky Adult Slippers with this easy to follow tutorial. Add a button, a flower or even a pom pom to add a fun embellishment to your cute new pair of slippers. Just picture waking up on a chilly morning and slipping your feet into these soft and chunky slippers.

Stashbuster Granny Square Afghan –  Have some yarn lying around? The Stashbuster Granny Square Afghan is here! Crochet just 35 of these granny squares with your assorted yarn colors and white yarn to make this granny afghan and to use up all that scrap yarn. The finished blanket is 40 inches by 50 inches which will make a nice and cozy afghan for your home.
