Today I’m so excited to introduce one of our newest crochet designers, Becky! Becky crochets a variety of super cute crochet patterns for us ranging from holiday items, to hats, to bags and more. Becky first taught herself how to crochet in 2010. She bought a hook, some yarn, and sat herself down in front of YouTube, and learned the basics. She was encouraged by how quickly she picked it up and was able to complete items. She wasn’t yet confident enough to actually pay for patterns, so she was always searching for good free patterns. It wasn’t long before she found AFC!
Some of my favorites from Becky’s collection:
30 Minute Snowflake – Crocheted snowflakes can be just like real snowflakes in that you make each and every one unique and different in some way. These are dainty and can be used as ornaments, gift toppers or home decor.
Santa Suit Hat – Perfect for the holidays and can be quickly worked up if you’re in a hurry. This crochet hat pattern is great for photo props, too! Kids and adults will fall in love with this hat once it’s complete.
Shell Stitch Headband – I like crocheted headbands like this for the winter months because it won’t flatten your hair out, but it will still do its job and keep your ears warm. The shell stitch gives it nice texture and creates a fun crochet design.

These are just a few of MY favorites. Which ones are your favorites?
