Fall Into Crochet Fashion

October 9, 2012 by AllFreeCrochet 1 Comment

Now that the fall season has officially arrived, I’ve been seeing some new and beautiful fall fashions. I’ll be honest, I just bought my first pair of colorful jeans: purple! I never pegged myself as someone who would wear bright colors like that, especially for pants. I also bought my daughter a pair of red skinny jeans (she’s 7 weeks old, I had to)!

As I walk through clothing stores all I see are bright colors from reds, to burnt oranges, yellows and even hot pinks and greens. This is definitely the newest fall fashion; bold is the way to go.  Unfortunately, some of the prices of these clothes are outrageous. I’ve even seen some cute hats and purses and I just can’t fathom that price tag. So let’s think how we can avoid that? Oh wait, we can! Remember those brightly colored yarns and that thing we call a hook? We’re pretty crafty around here! Let’s crochet our own fashionable styles for the fall season with free crochet patterns!

Lightning Fast Fingerless Mitts  Autumn Harvest Scarf  The Perfect Beret

Lightning Fast Fingerless Mitts – These mitts are great for the fall season. Not only do they keep your hands nice and warm but they allow you to free your fingers making it easy for texting and typing. They’re embellished with faux cables giving them a fun design. You can easily crochet these in two hours or less!

Autumn Harvest Scarf – Pair this lightweight free crochet scarf with your favorite pair of jeans and a bulky sweater and you’re outfit is set! The finished look of this scarf resembles falling leaves so it truly is a great pattern for the season.

Classic Infinity Scarf – This is one of my favorites. Infinity scarves, also known as cowls, are great to add to your wardrobe. Instead of a necklace you can wear this scarf as  your accessory for the day. Using super bulky yarn you can work this up in no time.

Unisex Beanie – This is an easy crochet pattern that can be worn through the winter season. Use bold, bright colors or a fun variegated yarn to make a statement.

The Perfect Beret – Now I’ve seen many hats in stores lately, but this one is super cute! Try your hand at a beret like this one. This is an easy must-have crochet hat pattern.

Coral Ruffled Cardigan – Not only is the color of this cardigan amazing, but the ruffle pattern throughout the design is perfect to flaunt. Cardigans are in right now.

Autumn Spice Cardigan – Wear a cropped cardigan with a tank or short sleeved shirt under it. The deep bold color is great for this time of year.  This is great paired with jeans or nice pants for work.

Autumn Flower Tote – Carry around all  your essentials in this adorable bag. The bow detail at the side is just what this bag needs.

So I ask you, what fashion design will you be crocheting this fall?
