Forget the winter blues, put the stereotypes aside and whip out those knitting needles, crochet hooks and craft supplies…this one’s for the MEN! This Friday and Saturday, Colorado is having one of the manliest events they should be so proud to attend.
Ink Lounge is hosting the Holiday ManCraft Show with over 40 creative and crafty men who love making fun designs and crafts for the holidays. Whoever said crafting is “a woman’s world” certainly hasn’t met these men. Orville “Mark” Skattum, an 85-year-old National Guard veteran who has taken up loom knitting hats for vets is participating in the Holiday ManCraft show in Denver and Boulder this weekend. You’ll see everything from clothing to knives to screenprints and soap; you can find something for everyone at this show. You can even find glassware and art prints, too. All the vendors are men and everyone is more than welcome to attend. If you have a crafty man at home who just doesn’t believe this is the thing for him, perhaps he can attend one of the shows and get inspired.
Need more motivation and more macho-ness?
The first 50 people in the door each night will receive some man snacks including a drink ticket, a ManCraft koozie and some other cool “manly stuff”. There’s even a fun event where you vote on best mustache, beard, side burns and combo looks. If that’s not enough to get your man to this show then I don’t know what is.
Do you know a man who loves to craft?
