The second Tuesday of the month is quickly approaching, which brings about a new adventure on FaveCrafts Radio. Listen on-line as the lovely host, Simone Collins, talks to guests about project ideas and creativity.
November’s theme is The Amazing Men of Craft! Let’s be honest. It’s not every day that several guys get together to discuss crafting. I’m sure it does happen, but we’re not always aware of it. Simone Collins, will be chatting it up with some of today’s craftiest men:
Drew Emborsky, The Crochet Dude
Jonathan Fong of Style with a Smile
Steven Brown of Glitterville
Mark Montano, author and crafty designer
What hot party ideas are out there? How can you make your tables and home glow for the holidays? The must-know answers will be revealed by the Amazing Men of Craft. They’ll also shed some light on their current doings and creative tips. During the show, call 646-200-4435 to have your own questions answered.
Just when you thought things couldn’t get even more fun, there will be a giveaway for some Crochet Dude Ergo Crochet Hooks from Boye. But you have to listen to win!
Visit FaveCrafts Radio on Facebook to hold you over until this exciting episode airs. Then bounce over to FaveCrafts Radio on Tuesday, November 13 at 11am EST for all of the fun!

Want a set of those crochet needles so badly. I think they would be so comfortable.
WOW! I’ve got to put this on my calendar!
One of the impressive men I reference when telling someone about ‘crafting men’ is Rosey Grier! He experienced a very colorful and varied lifetime of interesting careers and hobbies, one of which included needlepoint and macrame. He wrote a book titled: “Needlepoint for Men by Rosey Grier” which was published in 1973. If you’d like to learn more about this man’s amazing lifetime accomplishments, check this link. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosey_Grier …Or visit your public library!
Oh yes, I love to win some of the Crochet Dude Ergo Crochet Hooks from Boye. I hope I don’t miss the broadcast.
I would love to win the hooks but I am the most unlucky person on earth. I’ll probably forget to sign up.
I never win anything either!!!
I always miss things because of time differencence. I can’t wait. Thanks

I think it is great to have men designing for crochet projects. Thanks to all them for your great patterns and tips.
I’d love to win the ergo hooks. They’d be so great for my crocheting. I don’t usually win things though!
Crocheting would be less complicated and go faster with a set of American labelled hooks 🙂 Our church makes hats, mitts and scarves throughout the year and distributes to school children whose families receive our Christmas hampers. We also send these items to other countries through Comfort Canada,
Here’s hoping. 🙂
I love my Bambo hooks! I’m always on the lookout for something new that helps my hands!
Would love these crochet hooks!
There was an afghan which you crocheted in blocks, but they were crocheted together in (something like a bulky form) but it was, I guess, some sort of a granny square–but different. I like different–left hand crocheter, but can follow all right handed patterns!
