June 6, 2013 by AllFreeCrochet 9 Comments

Do you know how to do Tunisian crochet? If not, this is definitely the book for you. First Time Tunisian Crochet by Margaret Hubert will teach you everything you need to know about this unique crochet technique.

Also called “afghan crochet,” Tunisian crochet is a a needlework technique that combines elements from both knitting and crocheting. A special hook (called an afghan hook) is needed to complete this method of crochet. I know it may seem a bit intimidating at first, but trust me, it’s really a simple technique that’s easy to learn if you have the right tools – like this book!

First Time Tunisian Crochet includes step-by-step instructions for the basics, as well as five patterns to test out your new skills. This book is an invaluable resource if you’ve been wanting to learn how to do Tunisian crochet, or if you’d like to perfect your skills.

Enter here to win a copy of First Time Tunisian Crochet from AllFreeCrochet. The contest ends June 12, so enter right now!

Haven’t tried it yet but it’s such a beautiful stitch that plan on using soon. Just got an afghan hook recently.
