    I crochet lap robes for cancer patients in chemotherapy, residents in the nursing home and for friends/family that are going through some rough times. So that’s what I’d use the yarn for.

    I would use it to make a Spring throw…light & airy. Also, a little afghan for my 3 yr old granddaughter. Maybe a pair of Spring slippers too….open ones…like sandals.

    I’m using Red Heart Honey Dew in an afghan right now. I think that Artichoke would have been a very complimentary color in the afghan also.

    If I won this yarn I would make a friend of mine a frog(she collects frogs) I would also make one of my grand daughters a purse her favorite colors are green and pink I would make the purse in solid green and pink dots.

    The color is fabulous! I think a really pretty scarf or spring shawl – but I’ve also been looking at crocheted skirts so that could be a possibility, too.

    I would make a purse. I am crocheting all my gifts for Christmas 2012. The artichoke green color would be perfect choice for a croc stitch purse I designed for my granddaughter.

    I absolutely adore this new yarn — such a lucious green. It reminds me so much of spring, new growth, & Easter eggs. I would crochet the beautiful country blossom throw with this Artichoke yarn. Thank you so much & Happy Spring!!

    I have cancer,(stage4)2 beautiful Grand Daughters 3 Handsome Grand Sons and a Grand Child to be born a a few months.
    I would use the yarn as a trim, doll dress,bib,and ties.That’s what I would do.
    The yarn is a pretty green,it would go with all of our seasons.

    p.s. the plaid background is pretty, but could you make is transparent? The opaque lines make is difficult to read some of the site text.

    I just came across the Ribbed Ripple Reversible Afghan pattern (blogs.thetucker.com) and think this yarn (with some added to it) will make this pattern up beautifully. A couple of rows with this shade, a couple of white, a couple of darker green, repeat until it’s the size one wants.

    I would combine this yarn with a pretty shade of blue yarn and a nice soft buff color for an afghan for my niece’s new home. That green is simply gorgeous!

    I think because it is soft, I would make a hat and scarf for my friend who is going through chemotherapy. I know I loved soft hats when all my hair was gone because of chemo and I am sure she will too

    i love making afghans. the bigger
    the better. i’d team the colors with
    “artist print” and either “lt. raspberry” or “megenta”. a granny
    sampler or multi-colored mitered blocks.
    i’d then use a lace pattern to join the
    blocks.

    At the moment if I win that beautiful yarn I would just enjoy the feel of it { i have a fractured wrist}I am going thru knitting withdrawals as I knitted every day,but when my wrist is better i would knit a turtle with the shell made with different colors so the green would really be highlighted..

    Hmmm…this is almost the exact color of the smoothie I just had for breakfast. That should inspire me for something! …maybe I should create a new square and call it the Green Smoothie Afghan surrounded with other bright or warm colors.
