I can pick the exact color and pattern I want, and make it a truly one of a kind sweater that fits me perfectly!!
My favorite sweater was hand-knitted for me by my grandmother. I knit and crochet lovingly in her memory, and I am sure that she watches over me with pride, every single time I pick up a crochet hook or knitting needles. The sweater she made for me was what got me interested in learning the needle crafts, and its very soft and made of several shades of my favorite color, purple.
my sweater reminds me of my dad the warmth of my sweater reminds meof his love for his family. He was taken by cancer cold cancer but he still was warm and loving
Oh ladies, have you ever been “afraid” to make something? My niece who lives with me has asked me several times to make her a sweater….I love sweaters myself….it’s a comfort without the calories! I lose stitches on the sides. I count and count. Fall is here in little Rhody and we are so ready for those sweaters!
Red Heart Homespun makes the BEST sweaters ( and afghans!) I love the soft feel, the light weight, and the warmth of the yarn!!
I love the rainbow of colors available. The garments get even softer with washing. Everyone always thinks my items are very professional looking, and I attribute that to the texture of the yarn. Knitting has been a life-saver for me when my daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer, and I needed something to take my mind to a better place.
My fav is thick, soft, and warm. It has an array of colors and goes well with many things
My fave sweater is made from red heart yarn and it is so comfy and cozy. its also very soft. its also a family heirloom that my grandmother made and passed to my mother and then my mother to me. i plan to pass it to my daughter as well. it is amazing and everytime i wear it i am reminded of my grandmother who lives in NY and I live in FL.

It’s soooo soft
I love using this yarn, so beautiful and warm!
My favorite sweater was like a warm hug. When I put it on I feel the love of the person who made it for me. It cheers me up and makes my day brighter. Unfortunately the only person who made me a sweater was my mom when I was about 9 years old. It was blue tweed with a sqare collar in the back. I loved that sweater and wore it till I couldn’t fit into it any more. Then it was passed down to a cousin. Now I am the one most likely to knit or crochet the sweater that is a warm hug.
It was long, warm and comfy. After many, many years I wanted to replace it. Gave it to my appreciative daughter who wanted it not because of it’s characteristics, but because it was what mom wore as she was growing up. Sadly, never got it replaced.
An Aran cardigan I made 30 years ago!

My favorite sweater is so special because it was given to my by my grandmother who knit it before her diagnosis with Alzheimer’s. It was the last sweater she made, every time I wear it, it reminds me of her teaching me how to knit and all our other fond memories
There is no yarn that comes close to Red Heart. This pretty sweater is on my list of “must do” projects. when I make a sweater it has to be comfortable to me and Red Heart can do that.
My favorite sweater is a soft, fluffy cardigan. It is done in purples and keeps me just warm enough.
I love that no matter how bad my day was I can wrap myself up in my favorite sweater and feel so much better.
My favorite sweater is big and worn in and comfy. It isn’t the prettiest thing ever, but nothing makes me feel better than slipping it on, grabbing some coffee, and sitting outside on a nice fall day
I have never made a sweater because I am still a beginner but I would love to give it a try. This prize would help me build a nice stash 🙂
My favorite sweater is a grey cardigan. I like thqt the sleeves are a little bit too long and the button up front makes for easy nursing when I pair it with a tank.
My favorite sweater is a second hand sweater my mom gave me. It’s real heavy, to big, and the coziest ever. I’ll be lost when it falls apart.
It’s cashmere. Need I say more?!?! 😉
I like the creativity that comes with being able to crochet things urself. Then to get compliments by strangers only makes it better!
My favorite sweater is definitely the kind I can say I made myself when someone asks. Other than that, if it’s warm and snuggly, it and I are good to go.
I don’t have a favorite sweater….I do have a favorite sweater season – fall! I can hardly wait until September arrives to start digging out the sweaters. Nothing is more comfy than a sweater when the temps get a little chilly.
I am mainly a crocheter, having switched from knit years ago due to arthritis in my elbow. I have been trying my hand back at knitting and this looks like an ideal pattern to work. Thank you for both the patterns and yarn giveaways.
My favorite sweater is special because it was given to me by my mother.
What a wonderful day it would be if the postman brought this box to my door!
My favorite sweater is so great because I “stole” it from my dad. I have had it for years and years. It’s been to college with me. It’s kept me warm on late nights up feeding my three children. The sleeves have dried many tears while going through a heartbreaking divorce. It’s been washed a million times and it’s starting to fray, but I swear, if I inhale deeply enough I can still smell hints of my dad.
The yarn! The yarn is soft and cuddly. The right yarn makes a great pattern even better!
I like knitting because I relax when I knit and I love doing nice pieces.
My favorite sweater is special because it is hand made. When I wear it, no matter how crummy I may be feeling, I just feel better knowing it was custom made for me with love and care.
My favorite sweater is cozy and fits well. It was also a birthday gift to me from my hubby and kids.
my sweater is me friend! it keeps me warm on the chilly days or nights. i love snuggling with it!!!!!!
I don’t have a favorite sweater, but if I win I will be making one for this winter.
My favorite sweater was the long sleeve cardigan I crocheted for my father. I found leather buttons to sew on. It was his birthday present. The surprise to me was he thought it was a store bought sweater.
Fingers crossed! I just taught myself how to knit earlier this year and would love to give this pattern a shot. Can’t wait for the results!
My favorite sweater is so special to me because it was handmade with love. 🙂
I’d Love to win! My favorite sweater is soft stretchy and super comfy. A bit big but tgats what makes it comfy. Thick and warm
I have had my favorite sweater for about 12 years now. As soon as there is a little chill, it’s the first thing I grab out of my closet. It is big and has the perfect weight to it that feels so good when I wrap it around me. I’ve worn it during both of my pregnancies, when I’m sick, when I’m “stuck” at home during bad weather and crafting or baking/cooking. I would be lost without it now!
My favourite sweater is black with fuzzy cuffs. It’s too big and I love it! Mostly because it makes,me feel good when I wear it. Feminine, cozy, stylish.
I love my favorite sweater because I stole it from my husband 🙂
You would love it even more if you make you one. The since of knowing that you made it, just makes you so proud.
My favorite sweater is purple, soft, and handmade by me 🙂 I have only been crocheting for a little over a year now, and have tried many things, but when I got that sweater crocheted and put it on…the sense of accomplishment that came over me, made me want to crochet everyone in my family one!! I love it!
I’m always cold from September to April. I have lots of sweaters. However, my favorite sweater is special to me because it has lots of colours in it and it co-ordinates goes with many of my tops!
I don’t have a favorite sweater yet. I’m still looking for a pattern that I like that will fit me. I’d rather make my own than buy one.

The softness, coziness & color!!!! Mn is the perfect state for sweater love!!! =)
My favorite sweater is a crocheted pullover sweatshirt type I made about a year ago. It was the first sweater I ever tried to make and has propelled me into the world of garment making and stretched my abilities. 🙂
It has two of my favorite colors (orange and grey) and my mother got it for me, and has a matching one!
I love Red Heart Yarn!! I love the softness of my favorite sweater and how fashionable it is. I love crocheting! Thank You for this giveaway!!
Love all my sweaters, and would love to win this contest. I love yarn!!! Looking at different patterns just makes you want to hurry with one so you can get started on the next. Thanks Stitches/Red Heart! 🙂
I absolutely love Red Heart Yarn. I knit with it all the time.100 projects on Ravelry with at least 90% knit with Red Heart. I haven’t made this sweater but I love the stitch so I’ll be trying it.
What makes my favorite sweater so special is that my grandmother made it. I am nearing 50 years old now, so I don’t know how old the sweater is, but besides a few stains and loose buttons, (not missing), it is holding up very well. Nothing compares to hand made.
The love that went into making it.
My favorite sweater is a little black cardigan that helps take the chill off in the Summer, Spring, Fall & Winter. Love taking my sweater to the office for those just in case days. This versatile sweater is designed to use for dressy or casual (which I really like).
My favorite sweater is one that is super soft. I just want to cuddle on the couch while wearing it 🙂
My favorite sweater feel
It’s so soft and comfy.
My favorite sweater feels like a big hug!
Its so warm and soft
My favorite sweater is actually a shrug. I love it because it was one of the first things that I made after I began knitting. At age 53, I started teaching myself from a book and with the help of some friends, I learned more and I have to admit – knitting is addictive! My name is Becky and I am a knit addict!
soft and cuddly
The person wearing it.
My favorite sweater was so comfy and just right for a cool day. It was store bought and my family hated it. My sister made it disappear.
I made a similar one out of an awesome red heart verigade. The best part of red heart yarns is they get soo soft after they get washed. Cuddled in my sweater and a red heart afghan now as we speak!
It feels like home when I put it on!
I already have more yarn than I will be able to use in this lifetime, but who wouldn’t love, love, love to have more? Especially love the variety of colors, textures, and types of yarns in the Red Heart Brand of yarns.
Soft and comforting, like a hug.
It’s the yarn and the color. I have it for 5 years.
My favorite sweater is special because of the warmth it gives me and the feel .. the softness… it is like being wrapped in a big hug…. Happy knitting to all.. 🙂
My go to favorite sweater is a soft, warm, and comfortable. After a long day at work, I just come home, slip it on, and get ready for a long night in my chair, crocheting!
It fits! Knitting my own sweaters allow me to customize the fit for my, ahem, middle-aged shape. Don’t need sweaters often in Central Texas, but when I do, I love them!
It’s big and soft and my favorite color!
My favorite sweater is very old and my favorite color. My Grandmother made it for me before she passed away. Love and miss her very much.
My favorite sweater keeps me warm and cozy.
My favorite sweater has a Paris theme. One of my dreams is to visit Paris.
Its warm wooly washable wonderful……
I love the feel of my sweater. There is nothing like the cozy feeling I get when wearing it.
I don’t know how to knit really well but looking at all the sweater patterns this fall is making want to practice 24/7!!!!
My favorite sweater is the one I am currently working on for a family member’s baby girl. It is the first sweater I have ever done. The yarn is so soft and delicate. It is turning out beautifully and even though it took my a long time to start my first sweater I know it will not be the last one as I plan on making a sweater for each new baby that comes along in our family.
It is squishy.
My favorite is one I made, which makes it special because it’s the only one I did and probably the only one I’ll knit… I’m not too good in knitting clothes… :/ I’m better in knitting baby blankets!
My favorite sweater is the one that my grandmother knitted for me when I was a little girl. My daughters have worn it and it is here for my granddaughters to wear when they grow into it. What an heirloom!
My favorite sweater is soft, cozy and my favorite color…blue.
I have had many knitting, and crochet projects over the past 20 years. My favorite yarn has always been Red Heart. Recently I took all my left over (Red Heart) yarn and made a beautiful afghan that is very soft, and warm. My next project will definitely involve my favorite Red Heart yarn! 😉
My fave sweater is a recycled cotton one I made myself. My old favorite sweater had seen better days so I pulled out the yarn and made it over, lol.
How soft & snuggly it is, I want to sleep in it its so comfy!
My favorite sweater matches just about anything and is comfy too!
Would love to be the winner of this great contest. With the holidays coming I am busy crocheting gifts!
My favorite sweater is a black cardigan that I crocheted myself quite a few years ago. It is black in a basketweave stitch with a shawl-type collar. I have to say that it was one of the most complicated crocheting projects I had undertaken (at the time and since!), but so very worth. That is one of the warmest and most comfortable sweaters I own. I suppose the fact that I made it myself adds to the comfort I feel.
My fav sweater is a loose fitting, coral and white stripped and the arms are 1/3 length.
I’m a size 3x and it fits beautifully. I’ve had it for at least 5 years and take special care when I wash it.
This is the sweater I wore when I last seen my dad before he passed…his favorite color was coral and when I wear it I feel close to him. ♥ I think this is why I crochet, he loved my projects!
I would love to try this yarn! Plus, I’ve always wanted a Red Heart tote bag and you can’t buy them! Thank you for offering this contest!
Oops… I didn’t answer the question. I love my favorite sweater because it fits perfectly and is in my favorite fall colors.
My very first project was a sweater with Red Heart yarn. I made it 30 years ago and it is still soft and warms as the day I finished making it! 🙂
My favorite sweater is the sweater vest I made for my son earlier this year for his piano recital. I was extremely pleased with how it came out. He looked very handsome and did a wonderful job in the recital. I love making things for my kids (amigurumi to clothes).
Red Heart is a name you can depend on. I learned how to knit with Red Heart and it has always been my ‘go-to’ when knitting for my family and all my charity projects. It wears forever and just gets softer in time.
I am currently knitting a baby blanket in Red Heart Love……I know it will be a favorite for many years to come.
My favorite sweater is one that my parents got me for Christmas when I was 16.. It was a turtle neck one, which I had noticed in a catalog and no one knew about it, not even my parents… I was so excited when I opened it on Christmas Day, as I really wanted that sweater and could not afford for myself at the time… I am now in my 50’s… It was so very soft and comfortable and I enjoyed wearing it all the time…
My favorite sweater keeps me warm!!
My favourite sweater is the first one I made. It’s not perfect, but it’s all mine!!
I don’t have a favorite sweater! It’s too hard to choose just one! They are all soft and warm. Remind me of playing in the leaves as a child.
My current favorite sweater is a purple paisley long sleeve made from a sport weight yarn. The paisley pattern takes me back to my teens when that was a popular design in shirts, dresses, etc.!
Personally, I don’t think you can ever have too much yarn. 🙂
Red Heart has been my “go to” yarn for almost everything. My grandmother used Red Heart yarn and I am happy to believe that it has not lost it’s quality over the years. Would love to win so I can add to my projects to do over the winter months 🙂
I love Red Heart Yarn as it has so many various colors and textures to make precious gifts for friends and loved ones. I would be so elated to win the Giveaway and would especially love to be the proud winner of a lovely Red Heart Yarn Bag!!
My favourite sweater is special because it was my first attempt at knitting clothes.
My favorite sweater has to be made of yarn that is warm during the harsh cold of winter. It also has to look really good so that it does not appear to be homemade. That means I have to do a good job knitting it, or rip it out and start over until it is! The best part is there are so many colors of yarn that I like, I have a hard time choosing, so I end up making MORE than one sweater after shopping for yarn.
It is Comfortable and warm!
Enjoy crocheting with Red Heart yarn. Hope to enjoy this gift.
My favorite sweater is warm and cuddly when I need it to envelop me with warmth.
The color and the fit make my favorite sweater special.
I LOVE YARN!!! Lol
I hope to make my favorite sweater soon! I started by making a shrug and I love it! Hopefully soon I will be cuddled up in my favorite homemade sweater!!!
What makes a favorite sweater the favorite is the way it feels-soft, warm, cozy-like a hug!
Yarn makes me happy. Pretty yarn makes me ecstatic!
My favorite sweater is over sized, warm and soft. I love how comfortable it is and how relaxed I am when I wear it.
I didn’t answer the question… sorry! my favorite sweater is soft, over sized, warm. When I wear it I feel comfortable and relaxed. I have never made my own sweater before. I think after I’m done with all my Christmas projects, I will try!
What makes my favorite sweater the best is that it was made with love.
My favorite sweater is soft, warm, and my favorite color..purple!
I love fall and winter because I can wear all of my sweaters and the projects that I make for my family and myself throughout the year. Red Heart yarn is the bomb! I love to crochet (and hope to soon learn to knit) and Red Heart is my go to yarn for all projects.
My favorite sweater has one arm longer than the other and several holes. It will never fit me again because I was just a child when I knit it with my grandmother by my side telling me how great I was doing and pretending she didn’t see any of the dropped stitches or uneven tension. I miss her dearly and will always think of her and all the other amazing people I have knit with over the years.
My favorite sweater is one I made myself during a very dark time in my life. Making it was the very best therapy ever. It reminds me that there is nothing God and I can’t face together and keeps me warm when the rest of the world feels cold. It was my first Aran knit sweater and taught me I could do things I considered impossible. It is pink, my favorite color.
My favorite sweater is very soft and warm.. I love the way it feels when I am wearing it..
My favorite sweater is a pull-over that has all the comfort an ease of a sweatshirt but fits nicer and is much warmer. It is a good, snuggly feeling when I wear it.
My favorite sweater is my oversized sweater my grandma made me a few years back.
My favorite sweater…is my college sweatshirt. I went to school for design and it was my favorite accomplishment. I learned so much and put all of the skills I learned from my grandma to use – sewing, crochet, etc. She has made me want to learn more about crochet with her latest scarves and now that I live near her I really want to have a day of crochet! Winning this we could spend all day learning and finding new ideas to make together! I made my first braided scarf with Red Heart Yarn and LOVE the yarn – I was never a big fan of yarn before because it seemed very boring and plain but Red Heart really unleashes a new area of creativity in me and has brought me and my grandma even closer with our ideas and inspirations from red heart yarn packaging! I would love to have endless spools of yearn at my fingertips to explore this winter – and my daughter is wanting to learn too!
Because it feels like my second skin and best friend wrapped up in one.
Please make an old lady happy by choosing her (me) for the giveaway. I didn’t even get a gift for Yarn Day. 🙁
My favorite sweater is oversized and soooooo soft. It’s like wearing a comfy blanket. 🙂
I love my favorite sweater, because it was a gift from my daughter while she was over seas in the National Guards.
I can’t get enough yarn! This would be great!
I have never attempted a sweater for myself, but would like to try it. I have found a couple of large size sweater patterns I would love to try. Winning this would certainly help to pay for the yarn.
Love love love yarning!! I’ve had MS for 11 years and yarning has been the best physical therapy! My PT gal is always thrilled to know I am still working the stitch to stay Mobil! Thanks so much for the free patterns and ideas.
My favorite sweater is one my father in law gave me that belonged to my mother in law after she passed away 10 years ago. She wore the sweater all the time and it makes me feel like a big hug from her when I am feeling down.
Cheri
My favourite sweater has a nice form-showing fit and is warm and comfy. Unfortunately, I’m not able to knit or crochet that yet 😉
My favorite sweater was my grandma’s. After she passed I knew I had to have it. It is soft, warm and reminds me of her when I wear it 🙂
I love to crochet and this would be a good time to win this to make more Christmas gifts
The fit and softness make a sweater!
my favorite sweater is special because I have never seen another like it, I made it for me, it fits me, it hugs me and keeps me warm and I know just how many hours were put into its making so I appreciate it and the work I did on it each time I wear it. Oh the color is fantastic also
How awesome it would be to win and make sweaters or warm throw for gifts
I love my sweater because it’s cozy, and my mom knit it for me
My favorite sweater is the one I made for myself but gave to my 92 year old grandmother to keep her warm its like giving her hugs all the time.
My favorite sweater is an ankle-length, bell-sleeve, hook-closure, pirate ruffled red beauty. The yarn is textured and has areas of shiny/glossy red which really make it stand out. My Dad picked it out for my 23rd birthday two years ago. When I wear it I feel elegant and beautiful, like I’m a leading lady in an old classic film. It’s unique and I never see anyone wearing anything as gorgeous and daring…and I’m glad because makes me stand out. I know I’ll have it forever – I will be the eccentric old red sweater lady in my neighborhood….and I’m just fine with that! I’d love to be able to make my own unique sweaters! Thanks for running this contest!
My favorite sweater keeps me warm even in the summer when I still end up being cold.
My favorite sweater is cuddly, warm and when I don’t feel well, it’s like an old friend holding your hand.
I wanna win win win.
For some reason, I can’t enter to win yarn!
My favorite sweater is special because it was a very challenging pattern and when I finished making it the feeling of accomplishment was unbelievable.
It is big enough to wrap around me and soft yarn
My favorite sweater is oversized, soft, and matches the color of my eyes. Its comfortable and makes me feel pretty at the same time so win-win!
It finds the right balance of keeping me warm without making me overly hot and it is soooo soft, very important for my ultra sensitive skin.
Being comfy and flattering
My fav sweater is so great because I choose the yarn and pattern and spent the time creating just for me. I make friends and family custom pieces and that Is the appeal, made for them uniquely
I knit

I’m that person: the one that’s ALWAYS cold, no matter what the temperature. I’m also a sweater addict. I’m not sure I could pick a favorite. They all serve their purpose, but the softer the better – I have one cashmere sweater I found at Goodwill – I put it on when it’s particularly chilly in the morning and I have the day off & feel the need for a big hug, because that is pretty much what it feels like. A big plus when you live alone! 😀

I regularly buy lots of it when we were making scarves for Special Olympics. At the library the group that meets weekly need yarn that is used to make charitable gifts for children needing caps and scarves, military care package items, and other donated projects. A sweater I made with Irish sourced wool is the favorite of all the sweaters I have made. My favorite sweater is the one I made to bring my daughter home from the hospital almost 39 years ago. Now I make sweaters for her babies…and the sleeves are the same length!
My favorite sweater has to be soft because I have sensitive skin, warm because I have an auto immune disorder, and baggy because that’s just my style. I would love to win this prize. I want to wish everyone luck. I would love this prize. I have a lot of projects to do and not enough yarn in my stock. I love how soft and easy to work with that this yarn is. Love this brand.
I recently have picked up crocheting again and my mother always told me to use only Red Heart Yarn. I love the softness and the quality of the yarn. The colors are so rich and modern.
My favorite sweaty is a hoodie that I use as a jacket. It is warm and cuddly, also nice and comfy.

What makes my favorite sweater special is that I made all by myself!! What satisfaction!!
My favorite sweater is old but huge. It is really comfortable.
My favorite sweater was made and worn by my great grandmother. She passed away when I was six and that is when it was given to me. That was 34 years ago and I still have and wear it. Love it!
I don’t have a favorite sweater yet, only because I haven’t had the material to knit my first one yet. 😀 I can’t wait to find out who wins this bundle.
My favorite sweater is so special because it was a gift given to me by my mother. It is the perfect fall/winter sweater. It is warm and cozy and so soft! And it is LONG! I love that about it! 🙂 I have never made a sweater for myself, but I definitely have one that I would like to make eventually…. winning the yarn would be a big incentive to make it! 🙂
My favorite sweater is my favorite because my mother made it before she died.
My favorite sweater is comfy and warm and very pretty with roses on it.
It is soft and warm and cozy like a sweater should be.
My favorite sweater is the first one I knitted. It’s a raglan sleeve knitted from neck down. I have made 20 or more for friends and family. Most out of Homespun.
It is huggable, soft and confortable and fit me the best
My favorite sweater is the one my mom made. She let me pick out the yarn and while she was making the sweater, she was teaching me the love of knitting. That was almost 50 years ago. I can’t begin to count the number of blankets and afghans I made and gave away. I later taught myself how to crochet and love teaching anyone who wants to learn a lifelong gift.
I haven’t made a sweater yet, but with all this yarn I could!
My favourite sweater is the one I made my mom many years ago. She has since passed and I still wear what was once her favourite sweater. Everytime I wear it I feel like i’m getting a warm hug from her 🙂
I’m sorry but I don’t have a favorite sweater, but do have a favorite shawl. It is so soft and love to wrap in it on a cold winter day. Makes me feel cozy and safe.

My favorite sweater is an oversized fair isle sweater that I got for my birthday when I was 15. I still wear it today and I’m now 33 lol. The best things are made from yarn!
Super soft and big enough to feel like I’m wrapped in a blanket.
My favorite sweater was one of my first knitting projects when I was a teenager and I still have the sweater.

It is super soft and the nicest one in my closet.
I want to knit myself a sweater though! It’s on the to do list!
My favorite sweater fits, and I made it myself. It’s not too warm and not too cool; it’s just right!
Allfreeknitting and red heart pages have been favs of mine for ages. I am working on my favorite sweater now. It is a bulky cardigan for my husband. I am using red heart shetland chunky that I bought a while ago; double stranded, it will take approximately 50 balls to complete. Back and one and a half fronts are complete. It is taking a bit of work and time as I am creating this from three different patterns i am integrating. It will be nice…he wanted “BROWN” knit into it so I did that right above the back ribbing. Hopefully finished soon.
My favorite sweater is warm and soft.
My favorite sweater is a patriotic one that I knitted all by myself! 🙂
My favorite sweater was made from a chunky yarn,
is comfortable and loose fitting. I can dress it up or down. It is washable and will last forever. Sort of like a security blanket for adults.
My favorite sweater is special because it is soft and warm. I love it!! 🙂 Hoping I win this awesome stash of stuff!! Thanks for the giveaway! 🙂
My favorite sweater is shlumpy and the cuffs are worn, but it is warm and has pockets. When I’m not wearing it, it stays in the car even in summer. It has been a baby blanket, a comfort at funerals, and a tummy disguise on “fat” days!
My favorite sweater is like a non-judgmental friend who welcomes me to wear it without judgment or ill fit!
There’s nothing like a warm, cozy sweater. They’re great to keep warm and a great accessories to any outfit. I love a comfy, Merino wool sweater!

I am 76 years old. I learned to crochet when I was 8. I have been using Red Heart since I have been old enough to buy my own yarn. I make sweaters, afghans, shoes and a lot of other things. I would love to have $150.00 in yarn since I am on Social Security and have limited funds
It’s soft, warm and comfy.
Loved your vendors at Midwest Stitches. One can never have enough yarn. I’ m always knitting for others.
With Christmas just 75 days away, winning such a valuable prize would be wonderful. I could still finish off a couple of gifts, and maybe even start a new one !! Love the Red Heart yarns, and seems like I never have enough time to knit & crochet like I want to.
It oversized and made out of super soft acrylic.
My favorite sweater was made by my grandmother, and even though it is over 10 yrs old I still wear it every once in a while because it means so much that she made it for me.
My favorite sweater is all of them.
It is soft and it fits me….I don’t like to gauge :)…..it’s called my confort sweater and even my daughter who lives across country knows what sweater I mean when I say I’m wearing my comfort sweater….
I use Red Heart for all my projects, the sports wieght yarn makes my winter socks so warm I actually double the yarn for the grandchildrens socks to wear under their winter boots and it keeps their feet dry for hours. I use the soft yarn for all sorts of projects from afghans to
sweaters. Red Heart yarn comes in super savor size and that really is a deal..
My favorite sweater is special to me, because it warm and comfortable. Feels like wrapping myself in a hug. Thank you for the opportunity to win

It’s oversized and soooo warm 🙂
The moment I put the sweater on I feel relaxed at at peace. I use it mostly when I am not feeling good, or need a good snuggle! It has such a soft feeling that when I put it on it feels like someone is giving a warm loving hug!
My sweaters are special because they make me proud to say I made them!!

My favorite sweater is so comfy—I feel like I am being hugged by Jesus!!!
I love knitting. It’s my stress release
I can’t really say I have a favorite–they are all over-sized and cuddly. When one is in the wash or drying, I have more to choose from to stay warm. I have PLENTY of room for MORE. My gramma, bless her, made some for me when I was small and started me making dish rags. When she died, I quit knitting. BUT have taken up knitting and taught myself to crochet. SO many new patterns to try……..WHERE TO START? NEED YARNLOTS OF YARN to try them all! Also have started amigurami..SO FUN
OOPSY, double-posted cuz it says ‘Your comment is awaiting moderation.’ , whatever that is.
But also Red Heart yarn is what my gramma used. Very nice yarns, 90% of my stash is Red Heart, most of the rest is Lion Brand–Would love to have LOTS more of each. Most of what I make is given away, so could use some for myself!!
My favorite sweater is warm and cozy and I can wrap my self up in it on cold mornings!

It’s comfy, covers everything, and welcomes the opportunity to wear a great scarf.
My favorite time of the year is when I can bring my sweaters out from hiding. I actually have 2 that I wear. At work my desk is right under the air conditioner and In the summer I get a little to cool. It’s not a heavy sweater like the one I wear in the fall/winter time, it’s light enough to get away with wearing a sweater in the summer but warm enough to chase away the chill.
My favorite sweater is big, soft, warm, and feels like fall, and home. 🙂
My favorite sweater is soft and beautiful. Just wearing it makes me feel beautiful.
My favorite sweater is so special because it is the only sweater I have ever made for myself. I am always knitting for others. It’s beautiful, soft and I made it have a hood. The fit is perfect and goes to hip length. The sleeves go just past the palm of my hand and I made an eyelet on each cuff for my thumbs to go through. The cabeling on the front and back is an intricate Irish cable. I love fall weather not only because of the changing of the leaves and the smell of the fireplace in the air, but because I get to wear my favorite sweater!
My favorite sweater is oversized, warm, and oh so comfy!!!! I love curling up with a good book and a hot cup of coffee while wrapped in my favorite sweater! My mother crocheted it for me and I’d love to win this yarn so I can return the favor to my sweet mother. Thank you!
My favorite sweater is one that my mom made me when I was a teenager. I don’t wear it that often any more (its once loose and baggy style is a little snug these days), but I could never part with it.
My favorite sweater is special because it was made by my Mom. She passed away a few years ago from breast cancer. Wearing it makes me feel her love for me. It went into every stitch. I hope to pass that feeling onto my family.

My favorite sweater is so soft and pretty. It is blue and light green. My grandmother made it for me about 38 years ago. It doesn’t fit me anymore but my girls wore it when they were little and hopefully it will be passed down if they have little girls.
I love it because I made it from the softest yarn I could find. It fits perfectly and I get complements every time I wear it.
My favw sweater is one my mother knit for me several years ago.

My favorite sweater is comfy, soft and warm
My favorite sweater, zips up and I can wear it pretty much with anything. That and it has pockets…… come on… pockets make any piece of clothing amazing. I tried to make a sweater for my now husband, while we were dating, I was so proud of myself when finished but when he went to try it on… it didn’t fit and it wouldn’t fit on me!! But God love him… he said it looked amazing 🙂 I want to try and make another one someday and be triumphant!!!
Thank you God for Red Heart!!!!!
I don’t own a sweater nor have I made one yet but I have a favorite sweatshirt. It’s old and warn so you just kind of melt into it when you put it on. It has a few holes by the hand from getting it stuck on a fence and it’s this soft yellow color. I just love it.
I LOVE YARN!!!
My sweater is special because I made it! I like it well enough to be proud to give it to someone I care about…and it was made with affordable, quality, red heart yarn.
Just being able to wear it makes it special! Living in Texas, our sweater season isn’t very long! 🙂
It is so soft and comfortable plus I made it 🙂
I designed and knit it with white and shades of purple Red Heart yarn for a special occasion many years ago; and it still looks nice and can be worn with several outfits.
It is soft and my favorite color BLUE! It is warm and comfy and goes with all my jeans.

I would crochet, scarves, hats, headbands and flowers.
My favorite sweater is one I knit for my former landlady. She had wanted a sweater like that since she was a young woman but could not find anyone to knit her one. It wasn’t the fact that it helped out with the rent; it was the tears streaming down her face with delight when she first tried it on. She wore it for many years and when i attended her funeral, she was wearing it. Her husband said it was her request to have it go with her. That is why it will always be my favorite sweater-because she loved it so much.
It’s old & soft & comfy & is the first adult sweater my Mom made for me. I love it more now than when she gave it to me.
It’s soft and warm, and I made it myself.
Mine reminds me of my past. Always warm and full
of love.
I love my comfy, soft, BLUE sweater. It goes with just about everything I wear.
It brings a feeling of comfort and warmth!
Anything I make for myself is unusual since I give everything away. So if I made myself a sweater I would be giving myself a little love…
I love to crochet! Please pick me!!
My favorite sweater is soft and cozy and it fits the way I like it!
My favorite sweater is the perfect blend of lace panels and moss stitch. It’s just enough lace to not be too warm, but it’s also not too lacy to be warm when I need it to be!
I don’t really have one but I had decided I need to make myself one. I never really needed one because I don’t really get cold but now that I am healthy I am starting to need one.
What makes it special is because it is handmade, nothing store bought is as good.
My favorite sweater is any soft, cuddly sweater I can wear that warms me up on a cold, bone-chilling day. That and a cup of hot tea are perfect. Someday I hope to be able to knit well enough to try making a sweater.
The yarn and that it is totally customized just for me! 🙂

My favorite sweater is one I made a few years ago – it is so cosy and still looks wonderful. I love knitting.
My favorite is a cabled hoodie with pockets. Wear it all the time!
It is lightweight enough to be perfect for those “little bit cool” days, and with a little tank top underneath warm enough for those really cold days. I also adore that it is longer tunic style and covers my rump so it is perfect with leggings!!
Oh the things I could do with this….I have a sweater in the works now, and love making baby sweaters.
I love the soft, soft yarn.. it’s very cozy!
I love my sweater because it’s so soft, it’s not just comfortable it’s like being hugged everytime I wear it. I’ve almost worn parts of it out so its time to make another one exactly as this one
I went looking in the cedar chest for the baby sweather and cannot find it. I feel lost with out it.
My favorite sweater is soft and pink (my favorite color). It has an interesting cable pattern around the collar and I have a pair of earrings that match it perfectly. It’s a rather dressy sweater, appropriate for church or special occasions, and makes me feel chic when I wear it.
It’s soft and I always look good in it! 🙂
Crossing my fingers
My favourite sweater is super-soft and just snug enough. It feels like a hug. Sometimes I find myself feeling happy that it’s cool enough to wear sweaters because I like it so much. 🙂

I love my favorite sweater because it is soft and comfortable. To too that all off, it is very versatile. I can wear it with jeans or I can wear it with a dress. Basically I could wear it every day if I want to.
My granddaughter is teaching herself to crochet (I’ve helped her a bit) and I feel so blessed that she enjoys this craft. I have been crocheting since I was about 23 and of 5 grand-girls, she is the only one who loves it as much as I do. We buy Red Heart Yarn because it is simply beautiful.
I loved a certain sweater, and wore it until I moved to Texas, but I still have the sweater. I knitted it myself, and it fit me like no other sweater I ever owned.

The warmth, softness and the fact that I made it!!

I love it bc of the color and its so soft!
What makes my favorite sweater is one that is made with love. Yes you can go to the store and buy a swsater. But there is something about a hand made one. All the time someone put into making it. All the love and caring they showed and put into every stitch. Those are the best kinds of sweaters.

My favorite sweater is not MY sweater at all! It belongs to my hubby and he graciously lets me wear it all winter long! It’s a denim/tweed looking sweater with wooly fuzzies sticking out all over. I hope it lasts through this winter, too. I’ll probably try to crochet a sweater soon, if I feel brave. LOL
My favorite sweater is worn in, soft & comfy, which is what makes it my favorite sweater.
I used Red Heart many years ago & I didn’t buy any more after that because there were FIVE different knots in ONE SKEIN……cheap cheap. Guess I could try it again, but there’d better not be any more knots in it!!!!
it is soft and not too heavy. Perfect for cool days and nights.
It is soft, warm and washable!
The most thing that makes my sweater special is all the love that went into it from whom made it 🙂 Also the yarn that was used to make it has a lot to do with it to make it soft and comfy…..When I wear it I DO NOT WANT TO TAKE IT OFF!
It is 12 yrs old, still as soft and because my grandmother showed me how to take care of it, I’m sure it will last for more yrs to come.
Because it was made over 20 years ago from my grandma

My favorite sweater keeps me nice and warm up here in the North. Very cold winters and nothing keeps me warmer than hand knit sweaters for myself and my family members.
My favorite sweater is one that an elderly woman gave to me, that someone gave to her. It was her favorite and she only wore it when she down or really upset about something.Said it always made her feel like she wasn’t so alone and cheered her up.
I just started crocheting less than a year ago. With that said, I have yet to make myself clothing. However, it is on my list to do. My current favorite sweater was picked out by my grandfather a few years before he died. It is a super soft and in a fantastic wine color. Love, love, love anything that is red wine colored. I will treasure it always and I think of him every time I wear it. Once the holes start getting too big I was thinking that I could incorporate pieces into a blanket that I am slowly working on. Make it last forever.

My fav is getting copied in I think navy or deep red,,,or green,,brown, yes I love it that much!
I’ll use it to make Christmas presents for my family! Giving a handmade gift is so much more meaningful than buying one, and it makes the recipient feel special too! 🙂
It is like a warm hug on a cold day
My favorite sweater is rich in color, light and comfortable, and has just enough drape to make it perfect.
It is so soft and cozy. The comfort level is off the charts but you still look great! What could be better than that?

I have yet to make a whole sweater but I have a crocheted vest that is long. It is very soft and I love the colors of green. Its a strip pattern where the colors fade into the next color. There is NOT a Red Heart Yarn with which I have worked that I haven’t loved! The colors are amazing and they are consistently of superior quality. I can count on all my Red Heart projects to turn out beautifully.
My favorite sweater was not crocheted or knitted by anyone in particular. It belonged to my grandmother who would have been 96 if she had lived eleven days longer. She will always be a part of me.

My favorite sweater has 3/4 sleeves and fits just right… the perfect piece to wear almost anywhere
