I take my knitting with me everywhere I go, and no, that’s not much of an exaggeration. Traveling is just so much more enjoyable with your knitting in tow, especially on long trips. It helps that I live in a city with an incredibly comprehensive public transportation, so I can almost literally get in some quality knitting every time I leave the house. I am not, of course, dragging my yarn around the city without any protection. Every project, knitting needles and all, is packed away inside some kind of bag to protect it from any incidental debris that might sully the yarn. I don’t want my projects to end up looking like dirty mops!
I’m pretty dedicated to my yarn, so I don’t just throw it in a plastic bag. But I’d never tried out an actual stash bag, so when I got the chance to review a handy tote from Kniterella, I jumped at the chance. Not only are the Kniterella bags cute, they also have a drawstring top, which is a luxury my knitting has not yet experienced. After lugging my knitting around for a week or two in a Kniterella bag, I can say I’m a total stash bag convert. My knitting always stayed well protected and secured inside the simple cloth bag. Carrying my knitting around also became less of a headache, since I could simply grab the stash bag. I also noticed that my knitting seemed to get tangled less often and less severely when I kept it in the stash bag. All in all, Kniterella’s bags are a wonderful product, perfect for the knitter on the go.
The good news gets even better! We’re giving away one stash bag to three lucky winners. All you have to do is enter our contest by September 4, 2013. Good luck!
