Color and knitting go hand in hand. The possibilities in knitting are only limited by the kind of yarn you can get your hands on, and there are more than enough choices out there to keep anyone happy. The limitless possibilities of color is what Knitting with the Color Guys celebrates. Every page is filled with huge pictures of gorgeous patterns and knitted objects. Kaffe Fasset and Brandon Mably do an excellent job of presenting the amazing ways that yarn can be combined. The patterns in this book are notable for delicately balanced colors.
I really enjoyed the novel organization of Knitting with the Color Guys—sections were divided by color palates rather than by experience level or project type. Grouping the projects according to color forces you to think about the role that a tone or hue plays in knitting. If you are a fan of color work, this is a must-have book. The way that Fassett and Mably play with color is amazing. This is a great book to keep as an inspirational piece, even if you never get around to knitting up the patterns.
