Ladylike Patterns: Knit Scarf Patterns + Women’s Tops for Spring

March 6, 2014 by AllFreeKnitting 38 Comments

I don’t consider myself an overly dainty kind of gal. I learned how to toughen up early in life thanks to my two roughhousing older brothers and twelve years of competitive basketball. However, there’s something about spring that brings out my inner pinky finger and longing for all things ladylike. Maybe it’s the emergence of delicate spring flowers or the over-abundance of pretty pastel hues. Whatever it is, by April I’m longing to wear charming knit top patterns and polished knit scarves.

This spring, look feminine and poised in some of AllFreeKnitting’s loveliest tank top patterns, halter tops, and other ladylike gems. There’s a ladylike and easy knitting pattern for everyone in this list of darling lace tops and flattering sweaters.

I love the Classy Knit Top. That top is definitely”my style” and not only that, I think that I think that sweater vest looks like something even ” I ” could create as um a retiree who’s new to the “yarn” arts! Thanks for the inspiration.

Summer Sunburst Cardigan is by far my favorite. I also like Ruby Red Top a lot. Classy Knit Top is okay too. Those are probably the only ones I would consider making. In fact I really do want to make the cardigan for myself!

The New Cotton Top is one of my favorite warm weather looks, and the slip-through scarf would add a touch of personal flair to outfits for any season. I’ve always wanted to learn how to knit as a peaceful hobby, but these pieces and easy tutorials motivate me to pick up a set of needles even more!
