If you’re an avid crocheter then you must have heard of The Crochet Dude, or Drew Emborsky. If you’re new to crochet then we’re here to introduce you to one of the greatest crocheters around! Drew has some amazing patterns and crochet books around. Drew blogs and creates from his studio in Houston, TX with his cats Chandler and Cleocatra. He has been featured in national publications including BUST Magazine, Interweave Crochet, Knit.1, Knit ‘n Style, Knit Simple, and Crochet Today!, as well as international newspapers such as The Sunday Telegraph (in London). Drew has his own full-sized crochet books as well as pocket books for your convenience.
Some of Drew’s Patterns:
Monet Afghan – This is a beautiful crochet afghan that was inspired by the artwork of French impressionist Claude Monet, which is where this crochet pattern got its name from. The colors are bright enough to light up any room. Drape it over the couch, take it on a picnic or get wrapped with a loved one in this cozy crochet design.
Fabric Basket – After you work up this fun crochet basket you can throw all your crochet supplies in it. It can hold your scrap yarn and hooks or you can simply use it as a decorative bowl.
Pink Ribbing Purse – This crochet bag pattern is just what every lovely lady needs. Drew designed this purse specifically for Breast Cancer Awareness, but you can sport it for any reason you wish.
