Meet the lovely crochet designer, Annemarie Benthem ! A few years ago, she attended her first crocheting workshop and she hasn’t stopped crocheting since. Her very first project she made during that workshop was a crocheted frog (sounds cute!) and she couldn’t wait to start crocheting more projects. She then started a blog to share her projects with family and friends. Now, she has an Etsy shop with patterns and finished projects, gives crochet workshops at her local yarn store, and blogs about crochet every week!
She has quite a few patterns on AllFreeCrochet
that I’m sure you will all love! I picked a few springtime patterns that are some of my favorites. Enjoy!
Double Flowers
– This adorable garland is made from individually crocheted flowers. Can’t you just picture it in a girl’s room or just in your home to welcome in the spring season? I love the purple and pink combination for these flowers, but you could crochet them in just about any color and have great results. This tutorial has photos to help you along too which make for easy crocheting – love it!
Flower Pencil Toppers
– Okay, these are really cute. My sister loves pencil toppers and I think I need to make one of these for her! This springtime flower pattern will turn any pencil from drab to fab. What’s unique about these toppers is the center part of the flower – it’s the pencil top! The crocheted flower petals surround the pencil to complete the look. Crochet a bunch of these for gifts for your friends to welcome spring.
