New Book Giveaway on AllFreeCrochet

August 8, 2012 by AllFreeCrochet 27 Comments

Win Crocodile Stitch Fashions from our friends at AllFreeCrochet. This book, written by Lianka Azulay, features eight crochet patterns that are made using the crocodile stitch. Made using only a chain stitch and double crochet, the crocodile stitch is easier than it looks. Learn how to do this stitch, or perfect your skills with these easy-to-read crochet patterns.

Each pattern is absolutely perfect for the autumn months. Once there is a chill to the air, you’ll be wishing you had the scarves, shawls, and hand warmers that are inside this book. Each pattern includes detailed instructions and large color photos. The patterns are all for intermediate crocheters.

I can’t wait to get started on these amazing crochet patterns. Some of my personal favorites include the Wrist Warmers (pg. 14), Neck Warmer (pg. 29), and Slouchy Beret (pg. 34).

Enter to win your very own copy of Crocodile Stitch Fashions today. Now is the time to get started on these patterns for fall! The contest is open until August 22.

I’ve tried, oh how I’ve tried… and then it hit me – just think “upside down, turn around” and it works. I’m not an expert but it’s getting to be more fun!

I have just recently learned how to do the crocodile stitch. It is not hard at all and I like the fabric it makes. I would like to get this book to see what she made.

I love the look, texture, feel, and everything about the way it makes a project look but have not yet learned how to do this stitch. Would love to have the book of patterns and instructions on how to do this stitch. It’s a beautiful and unique stitch that really makes things look more outstanding than they did before. I love to Crochet and would love to learn each and every stitch because I enjoy making things for those in hospitals, nursing homes, and especially children that are in my local children’s hospital as well as those precious babies in local and surrounding NICU’s. I think it gives family of these people a warm heart knowing there still are people that love them outside of their family and friends, nothing touches me more than God other than the smile on a child’s face that is sick and the thank you they give you for your small gesture of love that you brought them something, be it a blanket, toy, booties, socks, hat, sock monkey, etc. Thank you for the contest and opportunity to win this book. I hope others use their ability to help others in a way to reflect the love we all receive from our Heavenly Father. Lord thank you for saving my soul and for giving me a loving heart and the ability to use my knowledge and skill of this art to benefit someone who may not have the ability to get things for themselves and need just a lil extra love from your children Lord. Thank you for all you do in my life and for everything you have given me Lord for I’m nothing more than dirt on the floor that sins but you give me your unconditional love none the less. I love you Lord for what you’ve done for me, where you brought me from, and the things you continue to do in my life each day, and I know you will continue to do Lord because you never let me walk alone and you carry me when I am weak and you are strong. God Bless each person that you given the ability to do this wonderful art to use for what they desire Lord, in Jesus name I pray. Amen
