I’ve picked my favorite patterns from this collection to give you a sneak peek but don’t miss out on all of these lovely patterns!
Ripples & Shells Baby Blanket – Looking for a pattern that combines two great crochet stitches? Ripples & Shells Baby Blanket uses shell stitch crochet and ripple crochet to make an interesting and oval baby blanket. Not quite a round ripple blanket, the oval shape makes for a nice blanket at the end of a toddler’s bed and even a great mommy and baby snuggle blanket. Use variegated yarn to achieve this look or use multiple colors to crochet this baby blanket. The variegated yarn definitely makes this pattern easy to crochet since you don’t have to worry about color changes and you’ll get a fun almost tie-dye effect with this pattern.
Crochet Monster Hat – From 18 months to ten years your little one will look fabulous wearing this Crochet Monster Hat. I love that this baby hat pattern has more than one size to crochet and it would be fun to crochet different colored monsters for siblings. Complete with eyes and a set of teeth this crochet hat is great for any day of the year. I think it would be cute to be a little creative with this pattern and come up with other expressions for these monster hats.
Polka Dots & Frills Baby Blanket – Learn how to crochet the bobble stitch with the Polka Dots & Frills Baby Blanket pattern. Crochet baby blankets are always adorable and this blanket is simple to crochet once you learn the bobble stitch. I love the pretty blue that was used to crochet this baby blanket, but like always, you can crochet this blanket in any color. The solid colors work well with the bobbles and frilly textures. This crochet baby blanket is written in three different sizes so kids and adults of all ages can enjoy this fun and frilly blanket.

Both, but baby hats are so much quicker to make. I like small projects.
In the email on May 21, 2013 you advertised an ABC baby blanket. It was number 1 in the column on the right hand side of the page. I scrolled all the way down but could not find
any ABC blanket. I would love to make one for my great granddaughter.
Hi Arlene,
If you click on the book cover above it goes to another link. #10 on the right is the ABC pattern and it is really there. I have made this blanket several times (about 9 now) It is So beautiful and awesome…can be a bit tricky counting and getting it right the first time but don’t give up it is so worth it to see it finished. I found it helpful to buy some graph paper and shade it in with pencil for where the “bumps” for the letters go and it makes counting easier with the graph paper. A bit time consuming but helped me al ot. Good luck! Hope this info helps.
What is “the bookcover above” that you say to click on. I am having a hard time finding the ABC Blanket, too, LOL.
I don’t see a book cover either???
Yes, just recently I started making a number of baby blankets – I’m loving it too!

I prefer to crochet baby hats. Guess I have a short attention span, but I get bored with working on the same thing for very long. Also, there are the cutest baby hat patterns out there, now!
