New Giveaway! Lizbeth Thread Holder

June 14, 2013 by AllFreeCrochetAfghanPatterns 6 Comments

Lizbeth Thread HolderThis handy thread holder will have you crocheting, knitting, or tatting on the go in no time! This Handy Hands original is truly handy with a place for a cord to hang the holder around your wrist while you crochet or tat. Inside this holder there is a peg which will hold the ball of thread in place while making it easy to unwind without getting tangled. When you’re done crocheting or tatting, twist the top and bottom for easy thread changing, then latch it closed again.

Tatting is an old art, but it’s definitely something to try. Now that it’s easy to purchase pre-made lace, the art of tatting could use some love. If you crochet or knit already, you should really learn how to tat too! Handy Hands also has a few free patterns to help you get started. Try something new this summer and try your hand at tatting. And hey, the Lizbeth Thread Holder can help.

This thread holder is so easy to use and it protects your thread from dust, spills, and curious pets. Since it’s made of durable poly carbonate plastic, it’s easy to just throw into your craft bag when you need to craft on the go. Each one of these holders includes a free ball of Lizbeth Thread. This holder comes with Purple Marble- 173, size 20 thread. These thread holders make great gifts!

So whether you crochet with thread, knit, or tat, this holder is versatile and easy to use (I want to keep it for myself!) So be sure to enter today for your chance to win this nifty Lizbeth Thread Holder.

Yes, my grandmother taught me how to tat, although it has been many years since I have done any tatting. The finished product is so beautiful it is worth the time invested.

I have a How-to kit on needle tatting. I haven’t worked with it in quite a while, but it was fairly easy. Will have to get back into after I finish my current project.

Haven’t learned yet but have been wanting to have a go at it ever since a friend gave me a beautiful doily that she tatted.

I’ve tried tatting several times & have been a little bit successful. Still trying…never give up!
