Darning needle for weaving in ends
Yarns ~Patons Astra. Light 3. 50g balls:
• Yarn A = Silver Grey Mix (2 Balls)
• Yarn B = High Energy (5 Balls)
• Yarn C = Black (2 Balls)
Approximately 9 rows = 4 inches
Approximately 5 (sc, 2 dc )clusters = 4 inches
Approximately 30 X 38 inches
Ch = Chain
Ea = Each
Sc = Single Crochet
Dc = Double Crochet
Sk = Skip
St(s) = Stitch(es)
Hdc = Half Double Crochet
Ss = Slip Stitch
Beg = Beginning
Note: Weave in ends as you work.
Starting with Yarn A
Ch 103, 2 dc in 3rd ch from hook. *(Sc, 2 dc) in next ch, sk next 2 chs.* Repeat from * to * across. Sc in last ch. Ss to join yarn B. Fasten off yarn A.
Ch 2. Turn. Dc in next sc. *(Sc, 2 dc) in ea sc of prev row.* Sc in turning ch. Repeat from * to * across. Sc in last ch. (34clusters)
Repeat Row 2 using colour pattern listed below. For changing colours: Ss to join new yarn. Fasten off previous yarn. I suggest weaving in ends as you work.
Yarn A = Silver Grey Mix
Yarn B = High Energy

Rows 2&3: B
Row 4: C
*Rows 5&6: B
Row 7: A
Rows 8&9: B
Row 10: C
Rows 11&12: B
Row 13: A
Rows 14&15: B

Rows 20-88: Repeat from rows 5-19. Ending with colour A row.
Fasten off at end of Row 88, and weave in ends.
Using Colour C, Ss to join in corner where you left off. Ch 3. Do not turn. (Now working down left side. Hdc in same corner st. *Hdc in ea st across (meaning hdc in ea ch 2 & hdc in ea sc) to next corner, (Hdc, ch 1, hdc) all in next corner st. Hdc in each ch across to next corner.* (Hdc, ch 1, hdc) all in next corner st. Repeat from * to * around.
Ss in ch 2 of beg ch 3 to join. Do not turn. Ss in next corner sp. Ch 3, 3 dc in same sp.*Ch 4, sk next 3 sts, sc in next 3 sts, ch 4, sk next 3 sts, 4 dc in next st.* Repeat from * to *around, making sure to work 4 dc clusters into the corner sps. Ss in top of beg ch 3 to join. (46 4dc Clusters). Fasten off. Weave in ends.
