These colorful afghan patterns are just the thing to get your home ready for warm weather. Kids love bright colors and spring is the time to be inspired by fresh flowers and sunny days. 17 Colorful Crochet Afghan Patterns: Ripple Stitch

What’s nice about this collection is that each ripple pattern is different. With multiple ways to crochet, you’ll find that if one pattern isn’t what you are looking for, you will love the next. The patterns in this collection vary in levels of difficulty, so there is definitely a pattern for everyone.

I’ve picked out a few of my favorites from this collection below, but be sure to check out 17 Colorful Crochet Afghan Patterns: Ripple Stitch for all of the fun and colorful patterns!

Neat Ripple Afghan Neat Ripple Afghan – This might be my favorite afghan of all. The colors are so bright and work very well together without being in the traditional rainbow order. I can picture this crocheted afghan brightening a living room sofa or chair. I can guarantee instant happy feelings once you complete this afghan.

Ripples of HappinessRipples of Happiness – Okay, this is my second favorite pattern. It’s sometimes so hard to choose! I love the varied widths of the ripples – some are thicker and others are skinny. This method adds a nice touch and strays away from the typical symmetry of ripple patterns. You’ll be so happy making this pattern, you’ll be sad when it’s finished!

Beginner's Round RippleBeginner’s Round Ripple – Alright folks, if you haven’t tried a round ripple yet, this is the pattern you should start with. This pattern in particular has been quite popular on our site and it’s easy to see why. With brilliant hues and a beachy feel, this round ripple will add a splash of color to your home. IF you’re looking for a baby blanket, this pattern can also be made for kids and will look super cute at the end of their bed.

I like the Simply Soft Brites range of colors Watermelon, Mango, Berry Blue, Blue Mint, Grape and Limelight. Also like Sunshine and Iris. Bright colors just seem to shour “Springtime”

Purple…purple crocuses are very plentiful here in Victoria…spring colors around here are mostly purple crocuses, white snowdrops, red robins, and black crows…I have a tendency to see everything in 4 color blocks…

Every color of the rainbow is fair game for me to use in spring. All these colors are wonderful.

Just look in the garden and see all the beautiful colors. You think some colors don’t go together but they do.

I’m not really into pastels, but good crisp shades of any color make me very happy. 🙂
