Ooh là là: French Country Chic Crochet Patterns

April 7, 2014 by AllFreeCrochetAfghanPatterns 2 Comments

France has long been called the fashion mecca. It’s always been a huge source for trends in clothing, jewelry, and interior design. For me, it’s not so much the glittering lights and fashions of Paris, but the French countryside that inspire me. The quaint little villages, the vineyards, the tiny cottages with flower boxes hanging out the windows (think Beauty and the Beast); it’s hard not to fall in love with its charm.

The French country style is not a new trend; it’s long been a source of inspiration and admiration. I love that it can feel very homey while still remaining chic. After recently watching a film on the life of Coco Chanel, fashion icon and legend, the French country style has all that’s been on my brain. Which is appropriate since the style is usually full of bright blues and floral prints, and it is spring after all. Whether it’s a light and lacy beret or beautiful throw, there are so many ways to bring a bit of the French countryside to your home or wardrobe without ever leaving your couch. Crochet a bit of France with the help of these beautiful patterns!

French Country Throw – This light and lacy throw is the perfect way to get ready for spring. I just love the intricate details that this throw has.

Marie Antoinette Afghan – Named after one of France’s biggest fashion icons, this beautiful crochet afghan is truly fit for a queen. With the stunning embroidered flowers, it’s perfect for spring!

French Poodles Crochet Afghan – This afghan will make you want to grab your old poodle skirt and twirl around. With neutral colors, you just can’t go wrong.

French Country Round Ripple – The details in this beautiful ripple afghan are stunning. Spring has truly sprung with this gorgeous pattern.Classic-French-Beret

Classic French Beret – A staple in France, I just couldn’t have a French country style post without a few light and beautiful berets.

Ashbury Beret – I love the vintage vibe that this beret has. It’s the perfect fashion accessory for the spring.

Monet’s Lily Square – Crochet the way Monet once painted and make your own Monet’s Lily Square. The small flowers in the center are flanked by brush stroke-like crochet stitches.

Fall Flowers Afghan – Full of bright colors and flowers, this is perfect for the spring season.

Parisian Ruffle Scarf – Create a fresh, straight-off-the-runway look with this beautiful crochet scarf pattern.
