I love crocheting. Over the last month I’ve made 4 baby hats, 2 diaper covers, 1 baby blanket, 1 adult hat and one bunny blanket. I’m currently working on hats for my twins. I don’t follow many crochet patterns mainly because I uses to not know how to read them. I’m getting better at it and would love to have a great resource for patterns. The big reason why I follow all free crochet. It helps me to get ideas! I love it!

i really enjoy crocheting due to the fact that when my grandmother was alive that is what she taught me and i was only around 6years old and had to learn through her non english so it was on sight since i dont speak German and that is all my grandmother ‘s language was german she refused to speak english since she was born in germany and lived there until she came to the united states so with this endless learning talent i continue to do this hobbie in memory of my grandmother and now i kept her tradition alive through my family i crochet som thing wether it would be small or large for all my intermediant family like my children and their wives and or husbands and the grandchildren so now they expect something home made for christmas which also reminds them that memories can be made and not has to be a toy to keep the spark alive out of their eyes and i can actually see my grandmother in all i do so that is why i really enjoyed crocheting in loving memory of my Grandmother Vera Brandstetter love you grandma i am keeping your tradition alive and i hope its in good standing to your approval and that is why my grandaughters are wearing that slouchy beanie cap you can see it on the allfreecrochet.com facebook page gotta love crocheting lol

My husband and I make hats and scarfs for homeless and for chemo patients as well. He crochets an average of 4 scarfs per week and hopes to have another 50 scarfs before next winter. I tend to make the hats while he makes the scarfs. We make a great team.

I like making hats. I have given them to Samaritan’s Purse, soldiers in Afghanistan and my own grandchildren. The soldiers wear them under their helmets to keep their heads warm. I am thankful my grandmother taught me to crochet when I was small and now that I have time I like to give back to those in need. Thanks for giving me the chance to change someone’s life with my crocheting. 🙂
