Welcome knitters and crocheters to our new monthly regional roundup! Since it is August 1st, this is the perfect time to tell you what’s going on this month in the world of yarn, whether that be yarn crawls, conferences, fairs, festivals, etc. We will be doing this every month from here on out so that you can be aware of things happening in your area that might be of interest to you. Attend them or don’t; at least you know they’re happening!
Get ready for a yarn event-filled blog post today, because there are so many festivals and conferences for you to pick from this month. Go to the one closest to you or give yourself an excuse for a vacation. We all need one every now and then, that’s for sure.
Attending yarn events like this is a great way to meet other crafters, crocheters, and knitters, as well as bloggers and professionals that create patterns or sell yarn. There are so many opportunities waiting for you at one of these festivals that we would hate for you to miss out! For instance, some of our editors had a blast at CHA and gave you a Yarn Trends Report afterwards. Tell us which events you want to go to… Maybe we’ll see you there!
