Welcome to June, yarnies! The summer sun in shining, the birds are chirping, and the days are the longest they’ll be all year. I cherish this time of year when we get more than 12 hours of daylight. It makes me feel refreshed, energized, and ready for the day from the moment I wake up. With all this extra energy, this would be the perfect month to take some time for knitting and crocheting!
Some of the events this month are really unique. You can head over to the super long Tennessee Yarn Crawl if you want to make all the fun stops, or you might be lucky enough to be a part of VOGUE’s next destination experience. Either way, I don’t know if these things sound near as fun as the Zombie Knitpocalypse. If I lived in Minnesota, I would most definitely go check out this uniquely fun retreat.
No matter what it is you’re doing with your summer days, we just hope you’re being active, having fun, spending time with your kids, and enjoying the little things in life. I like to think that yarn hobbies fall under this category; it’s a great way to spend your time without wasting it, like if you were to just sit down and watch TV all day doing nothing else. Well spent time is a good thing to come home to, to wake up ready for, and to fall asleep thinking about.
Tell us all about your endless, sunny, yarn-filled summer days in the comments below. Maybe even give us a few tips for how to fill our days with things that are worth our time for the summer!

Nothing to do with your blog, but on the All Free Crochet website, there is a banner for big sky Montana.
Old Faithful is NOT in Montana, no matter what they say. Most of Yellowstone Park is in Wyoming. Only a very narrow strip is in Montana. I am tired of them trying to steal the thunder….
You forgot Flag day which should never be done it is a symbol of our freedom and a reminder that some gave all for us to have this freedom.
