Did you know that 2015 is the Year of the Sheep according to Chinese zodiac?
The Year of the Sheep starts from Feb. 19, 2015 (the Lunar New Year / Spring Festival of China) and lasts to Feb. 7, 2016.
Of course, as yarn addicts we love sheep, so we couldn’t help but share with our our very favorite sheep and lamb inspired free crochet patterns. We thought sharing them early would give you plenty of time to hook up any of these great projects before the Lunar New Year arrives.
Sheep are known to be soft and gentle creatures, so they are the perfect icon to ring in a new year with. In terms of the zodiac, it is said that those born under the sign of the sheep are calm, gentle and caring. Why not work up a few sheep inspired patterns to celebrate the Chinese New Year?
