Win a Soho’s Snood Kit from We Are Knitters

November 1, 2014 by AllFreeKnitting 78 Comments

There’s nothing I love more than thick, chunky cowls. Luckily for me, these bulky beauties have become somewhat of a fashion statement for urban dwellers and bohemian trendsetters as of late. Personally, I’ve always thought there was a certain elegance to an overly plush cold weather knit; the appearance of these accessories in major fashion retailers such as Free People and Urban Outfitters is just an added bonus.

One of my favorite things about these stylish knits is the fact that they can be replicated so easily on my own needles! Many of knitted cowls and snoods you see in stores are constructed with simple stitches and straightforward lines. This is one of the main reasons why I love knitting my own cold weather essentials. There’s something so satisfying about creating something for yourself or for a loved one. That’s why I’m so excited about the latest giveaway on AllFreeKnitting, the Soho’s Snood Kit from We Are Knitters (WAK)!

Soho's Snood Kit Giveaway

What makes the Soho’s Snood Kit so great is the fact that it includes everything you need to create your very own knit snood. From the pattern right down to the tiny sewing needle, this extremely convenient kit from We Are Knitters makes the perfect gift for crafters of all skill levels. One of my favorite things about this popular all-in-one kit is the fact that We Are Knitters provides only the best raw materials to ensure the comfiest cowl that will last for years.

Each WAK knitting kit includes only the best 100% Peruvian wool in the colorway of your choosing. With beautiful hues such as honey, wine, and violet, you’re sure to create a garment you’ll cherish for seasons to come.

My favourite item in VERY cold weather is a shawl woven of Welsh Wool. Very soft, warm, ant Cwtshy.
(A CWTSH is the Welsh cure for all ills – a cuddle)
(In former years a baban or baby was enveloped in a huge fringed woven wool shawl that went around mother AND baby). Can’t think of any better way of soothing a child to sleep, listening to mother’s heartbeat,
