What is your favorite way to layer for cold weather?
I like to first put on a turtle neck then a sweater. Some times a sweater and a scarf.
Love to re-start my knitting and crochet work for chemo patients and nursing homes when the weather cools down.
I mainly knit afgans and baby items. At a craft show this weekend I discovered The Twisted Sisters who make scarves. They had some knitted but most were tied por braided long strands of muyi styles of yarn, from ribbon yarn to baby yarn. They were beautiful and it made me want to hit the stores and buy the unusal type of exclusive yarns out there and do something with them. I have to complete a knitted blanket for my younger grandson’s bed by Christmas. This spring when he was in town he saw that his older cousin had a “blankie” that covered his bed. This is a 10 year old who refuses to let me was the first of 4 small cuddle blankets that I made when he was a baby. He is sure it will fall apart if washed ad he is not about to let that happen. He promised he would not let it be seen in public.
