When the weather starts turning cold, one of the first real pieces of winter gear to emerge from my closet are my knit winter hats. I always almost feel impervious to the cold when I have a wooly hat on; there’s something about knowing that I’m able to make something both beautiful and practical with my own hands that makes wearing my knitted creations even more meaningful and enjoyable.
As most knitters know, the cold weather provides the perfect excuse to whip out your needles in full force and get working on those patterns you’ve been eyeballing all year long. This year I’ve been looking for some quality hat patterns to work on, and I found more than enough inspiration all AllFreeKnitting! Knitters of every fashion school will find patterns to love and knit this season.
