Now that January is in full swing, you might be feeling like you need to refresh your winter wardrobe. Here in the Midwest, the weather doesn’t start to warm up until about March or April, so we have quite a few more months of wintry weather to get through before spring arrives! Between the snow and the wind, there’s really no way around it—sweaters are the warmest and most practical items to wear. However, at some of my favorite stores, sweaters can range anywhere from $40-100 per piece! At that price, it just isn’t practical to stock up on them the way you would with t-shirts. Fortunately, the DIY option is almost always more inexpensive.
I’ve rounded up 14 free printable sweater patterns—some knit, some crochet—to help you get through the more frigid months with a fresh wardrobe on your side. Pick your favorite, print it out, and get working on your new sweater wherever you are. Your wallet will thank me!
Sweater Season: Knit and Crochet Printable Patterns
To print out your pattern, first click on the link to open it. Then, just below the title of the pattern, you should see a button that says “print.” Alternately, on the pattern’s page, you can click File at the very top-left of your screen, then select “print” from the drop-down menu.
