Meet the Designer: Tamara Kelly

November 11, 2012 by AllFreeCrochet 10 Comments

Tamara KellyToday, and every Sunday, is one of my favorite days of the week because we get to introduce a new crochet designer! This week I’m proud to present Tamara Kelly. Tamara has some super cute crochet patterns that I’m so excited to show you if you haven’t already seen them.

Tamara started to crochet in 2002 when she learned to chain and single crochet. Yarn crafting soon became her favorite hobby and she started designing her own simple patterns a few years later. In 2011, Tamara decided to take her skills to the next level and created a web site to feature all her fabulous patterns. Because I am in love with her patterns I MUST share a few with you!

Cozy Cat Hooded ScarfCozy Cat Hooded Scarf – Now I know what you’re thinking; Halloween is over. It certainly is, but this hooded scarf is just adorable! Wear it during the fall and winter months to keep you warm and stylish at the same time. It’s a playful crochet scarf that kids and adults will both love. It’ll make a great holiday gift, too!

Cupcake Slow Cooker CozyCupcake Slow Cooker Cozy – I thought this was the cutest design ever when I first saw it. If you love to crochet and cook and you also have a sweet tooth then this is the greatest crochet pattern for you. Carry your delicious slow cooker meal in a cupcake designed cozy. Your meal is sure to stay warm and tasty looking!

Diamond Crochet Cowl

Diamond Crochet Cowl – Dress up your outfit or simply keep warm with this crochet cowl pattern. With only 18 rows, this pattern works up quickly allowing you to crochet it last minute or on a whim. You’ll love the diamond design as soon as it starts to appear.

Zebra Finger PuppetZebra Finger Puppet – Considering my closet is full of black and white designs and stripes, my eye was drawn to this finger puppet immediately. Being a first time mom, I’m falling in love with zebras and I just bought some finger puppets. This zebra is great to help with eye movement and coordination. This is a great stash-buster project and little kids will love it.

As you can see, Tamara has a wide range of patterns from adults to children and wearables to household designs. See her designer profile for the full list of crochet patterns. If you need help searching for crochet gift ideas this year then check out her page; she really has some great patterns!

Which of the four patterns above is your favorite? Leave a comment below and let us know!

The Cozy Cat Hooded Scarf is super cute, and I actually started making it a few days ago for my sister as a Christmas present. 🙂
