This yarn would be WONDERFUL to work with and to share with my knitting partner – my oldest daughter who is carrying on the family tradition of knitters!
I love fingering weight yarn!
Hard to say what is my favorite… the soft baby yarns are great for the blankets I knit for give away blankets at our local Crisis Pregnancy Center.
Thanks for the chance to win! I love working with soft and bulky yarns; like chenille and baby yarns.
I love any kind of soft yarns. I try to use natural products like those made from bamboo and cotton. I also like Lion brand.
I like any and all yarn…But my all time favorite is soft cushy yarn…Free yarn is a major plus =).
Vanna’s Choice – it’s SO soft!!
I love all yarn! Each type has a special place in my heart and my stash! My favorite though would be hand spun yarn. There’s just something about home made yarn that makes my heart flutter. 🙂
I once purchased a small amount of bamboo to make a baby hat. That was the softest, most pleasant yarn to work with. I loved it. Unfortunately it is out of my price range 🙂
My favorite yarn is sock yarn, preferably merino wool and silk blend.
I love all yarn. I am learning to knit but have crocheted for years.
I love any yarn that has a nice sheen, long color changes and is soft. Well, actually, I’m easy and like any yarn except the cheap stuff ;D
I love knitting with Lion Brand Homespun. Thanks for the great giveaway!
It depends on the final use for the project but I really so love wool and have just discovered cashmere and mink yarns.
My favorite yarn is whatever i’m working with.
I love color so any yarn qualifies. But I do love the new bamboo yarns so soft and easy to knit.
I have been using Vanna White’s, Vanna’s Choice on an afghan I am making and I am loving it. Vanna’s Choice is my favorite right now.
I love any yarn that feels good !!
I love sock and worsted weight, in a wool blend, but I love what I can afford to buywhich often comes from clearence sales
I love free yarn, giveaway yarn, soft yarn and beautiful colored yarn. I am not particular about the yarn I use. I love most of it and most of it is out of my price range.
I love anything soft that doesn’t split apart at every stitch.
I don’t have a specific favorite, though I’d have to say I have a fondness for Red Heart because their Supersaver was the first yarn I worked with – specifically due to being very easy on the budget! They also carry lots of very nice colors and the softer version feels nice, too. Caron Simply Soft is also nice. (I guess that’s a rather vague answer, but I haven’t been able to test a whole host of yarns yet.)
I would use this yarn to make something for myself instead of other people like i usually do 😛
I usually work with a worsted, but it all depends on what I am making. I love it that you are giving the public a chance to win this,
I would love to win this prize pack and my favorite kind of yarn is ANY with some kind of Variegation, be it rainbow or gray or whatever, if the colors change, I love it!
To be perfectly honest, I’m still new, so I don’t really have enough experience with different types of yarn. I like acrylic yarn because it’s affordable and can be found anywhere 🙂
What an amazing prize! I love knitting with wool, any and every kind.
I love any especially if it is free.
I love the super soft chenilles that we’ve been able to get lately! So easy to work with and so soft!
I love cotton yarn. Followed closely by wool.
My favorite yarn to work with is bamboo and cotton.
I would love to try some new and differen yarns. I enjoyknitting and crochet.
I am still learning to knit, my yarn preference is whatever fun yarn I have on hand. There are so many to choose from in the yarn shops sometimes I have to buy a skein whether I know what I am going to do it at the time or not..
I love wool!. I can’t think of a certain brand, because I love all wool yarns. Alpaca is nice tool, but my go to yarn is wool.
My favorite kind of yarn is whatever I am currently knitting with, though a vendor at our farmers market does have some lovely alpaca -wool blends. I just can’t afford enough to knit anything useful with them.
My favourite yarn is my current yarn…tomorrow it may be cotton..today it is wool.. Zauberball Crazy. 🙂
I would love to win some free yarn. The colors are all so beautiful
Like it all but have found that I don’t like working with yarn that has a lot of frizzies as I tend to breath them in or get them in my eyes which can take a day or two to clear out.
I have to pick?!?!? I love any yarn that’s on my needles, lol.
My favorite yarn is alpaca yarn, especially when I know the alpaca!
can I say “FREE” and when I don’t run out
My favorite type of yarn is the one that fits the project. For babies: soft acrylic with bright colors. For shawls; sumptuous silk is beyond my budget, but alpaca is soft enough for me. For sweaters and socks: wool. It’s all got a use and I love to explore new types of blends.
Soft yarn, yum!
I like any kind of soft yarn in muted colors.
Any yarn that is soft! Natural or dyed natural fiber blends, any weight! I’m not picky!
I have to say it’s between silk and cashmere, oh heck let’s just make that a blend of silk and cashmere. Thanks for the chance to win.
This would be just fabulous… keeping fingers crossed (when not crocheting)!
Really Soft Acrylic Like Vannas choice
I have yet to meet a yarn I don’t enjoy. HOWEVER!!!! I do love alpaca the best. And Mary Maxim Glitter Mohair.
I love all yarn. The best part of finding or trying a new yarn is finding the perfect project to showcase it.
My favorite yarn is the free kind!
I just love merino wool. I have an itch problem with regular wool, which I also move, however, merino is still my favorite. Any color just about any brand!!
Any kind of yarn or thread. Love to crochet doilies.
My favorite yarn is the RedHearts with Love yarn. Which I can’t get any more. It was so soft.
My favorite yarn is made from natural fibers (though I make exception for wool + nylon sock yarn).
Any natural yarn with silk is my favorite. I consider myself so fortunate to live in a time with so many wonderful yarns and yarny people.
I love all yarns but I think my favorite at the moment is lace weight.
My favorite is alpaca and mohair!
i am running out of yarn would love to win this wonderful stuff…
Would love this
I love free yarn, colorful yarn, and any yarn that is soft!!
Lately, my favorite type of yarn to work with is superwash merino wool, soooo soft and easy to work with. Second favorite is silk yarns.
My yarn preference depends on the project I’m knitting, but one of my favorite projects are dishcloths, so I love a good cotton.
love to win yarn and stuff..
I absolutely love all types of yarn….I would love to win! I have kids I would love to make things for!
As a novice knitter, I am inexperienced in the different types/kinds of yarn but find myself drawn to bamboo. As the others have stated, free yarn is nice!
Just started crocheting and really enjoying it.
I love your giveaways! I’m sensitive to wool so I mostly work with cotton or silk, etc. but I’m wanting to try a silk & wool blend for a pair of fingerless gloves for my cousin that has commented that her hands freeze when she’s at work on the computer.
I love the soft finger weight yarns in ALL the bright summer shades!!!!
All yarns are my favorite! However love alpaca.
Free yarn
Worsted or sport yarn is my favorite.
I love to knit or crochet with sport weight yarn and woul be very happy to receive this package. 🙂
I hope it doesn’t sound bad to say cheap yarn. I almost always buy the cheapest on sale yarn (tends to be Red Heart), because it allows me to experiment without worrying to much about messing up the yarn. I know worsted weight has its limits, but considering I’m still learning and on a budget, I feel better about buying it.
Love to knit and crochet! Would love to win!
I use Red Heart as that is what is always around. SO I guess that would have to be my favorite. I need to try more perhaps.
I’m new to knitting so would love to experiment with any of the yarns shown!
Malabrigo sock
i do so many fun things with yarn that it is impossible to have one favorite. like having a favorite child, its just not going to happen. with kiting and crocheting and tatting as my main use of yarn it is never hard to put any yarn to use
I would love to win this fabulous prize.
I enjoy knitting with Merino Wool. Great giveaway!
My favorite yarn is worsted or sport weight. I’m not picky on brand, as long as it’s soft and a fun color I’ll love it.
I like yarns that are practical for the climate I live in. Basically, that’s plant fibers. However, soft fluffy wool is always yummy!
I would love to add this collection of goodies to what I like to call my read slash knitting room. I love all yarns yarns of all weights and colors.
My favorite yearn is the one that I bought last….But I fondly remember working with ribbon-yarns and making gorgeous sweaters with the beautifully textured yarns.
I like most any kind of yarn, it depends on what I’m making, but I prefer yarn that is really soft. Sadly, that’s usually the most expensive.. heh
Try Brown Sheep yarn… it is not that expensive and it is SOFT (Are you related a Bob Arbogast?
Soft acrylics and, if I can get my hands on it, bamboo/silk blends.
I really don’t have a favorite, as I’ve been knitting primarily prayer shawls recently. But I’ve now started on socks and I picked up some yarn that has cashmere in it, and oh, does it feel lovely!
I love any kind of yarn! Especially the soft ones, but usually buy what is on sale. I would love to wing this give-away, and wish the best of luck to all.
I just learned how to knit in the past few years. I started with any yarn I could find and now I love to find knitting shops all over when I travel. I am currently knitting a Henley for myself out of Manos Serena a baby alpaca and pima cotton blend. Its very soft and knits up beautifully.
I really enjoy knitting and crocheting with almost any type of yarn, but I think my current favorite is a worsted wool/silk blend that is amazing. So many yarns, so little time… 🙂
I use any type of yarn to knit with. Love knitting all kinds of things.
I love to try new yarns that my LYS doesn’t carry, Indie dyers are awesome.
There are so many yarns I love! I haven’t met one yet that I didn’t like!!! And it is kind of a seasonal thing, you know? Wool in winter, wool blends with silk for spring, cottons and cotton blends like cotton/modal for summer, fall starts the acrylics, novelties and so fourth.
My favorite is whatever I am working with at the time, and would sure love to win this awesome stash!!!
Variegated yarn always catches my eye. I love the color play.

I love all yarn….pick me!
No snobs here! Love yarn!
What a wonderful bag of swag! I like to use different types of yarn depending on what I’m working on. I use chunky style yarns for winter time scarves, lace yarns for accessorizing, and worsted weight yarns for afghans.
I know some purists don’t like it, but I love washable wool. I feel good that it’s wool, but having it easy care makes me feel so much happier when I give knitted gifts to others, especially baby and children’s clothes.
I really enjoy working with bamboo blended yarn. I also really like silk blends–they work up so beautifully!
I CRAVE this prize so much! My very favorite yarn is Noro, but I will never be able to afford to buy it. I usually stick to acrylics and superwash wools so that the people I knit things for won’t wind up accidentally felting their gifts into Christmas ornaments! I like almost any yarn that isn’t Red Heart Super Saver, which feels very harsh, even when soaked in a bowl of fabric softener for three days, and isn’t suitable for making chemo caps for children, my current project. But I really like it when I can afford to get Cascade 220 — it feel nice, and it comes in so many colors!
I like wool yarn, and hand dyed, and silk. Lol
Looks like a great prize

I love cotton yarn and sock yarn. But really any yarn is good yarn!
I don’t think I have found a favorite yet. I love all yarn. I am a sucker for pretty colors and my stash is evidence of that!

also like lion brand, and would love to try other kinds of yarn. Only have been knitting for a short time.
This package would be so fun! The creative possibilities:) I have used & really enjoy Caron Simply Soft a lot because I have a lanolin allergy….however, I jumped in & knit a shawl for my daughter for prom using a wool blend & didn’t have trouble with it….so, I’m thinking that I may be able to use wool blends if they have a low percentage of wool.
Noro is my favorite. I love the colors and the feel and can’t get enough.

I seem to fall in love with whatever yarn I have my hands in. Right now, I’d say my favorite is Hobby Lobby’s Baby Bee. It’s super soft, and it’s easy to work with. I’m making a baby blanket for my nephew’s second son, who is due any day. I should be working on the blanket, instead of looking around on the internet!!

If you don’t want people outside of America or Canada, then you should say it in you notice for the compation. Not have people like me come here and find out that they can’t enter it cause they are not in America or Canada. It is not FAIR. An angry Irish woman.

I have been working with a lot of different yarns over the years. Just recently I have been able to play with some Alpaca yarn. But I still think my favorite I have ever worked with was a wool satin mix that was found in the bottom of a box that was packed up in the 70’s. It worked amazingly, was shiny, and wonderfully soft.
I don’t know which I prefer because I have only used one type thus far, just plain old acrylic. I love the feel of other yarns though, wool, silk, etc.
