A few years ago, I had the bright idea to start crocheting my own striped blanket. I used simple double crochet stitches and didn’t plan on using any color changes except when I finished a full skein of yarn. Sometimes less is more and you only need to use up a skein for an adorable baby blanket. Or, you can use up two skeins for an airy and lacy throw.
