Video Tutorial: Crochet Body Positions

September 15, 2012 by AllFreeCrochet 1 Comment

Because we’re constantly adding crochet patterns and tutorials to AllFreeCrochet, it’s only fair that we share them with you here, too. Recently a super helpful video  was submitted to us for the proper crochet body positions. I am sure you would agree with me when I say that crocheting is meant to be a fun and relaxing hobby. It should not cause you any pain, discomfort, or heaven forbid, permanent health damage. But unfortunately, some of these things can happen every now and then if you don’t take the proper precautions.

Be sure to watch this video below and learn how to stay comfortable while crocheting.  After all, hobbies are supposed to be fun and painless, right!?

Do you ever get sore from crocheting?

boy, do i ever! hands, fingers, thumbs, wrists and elbows. i exercise them and wear fingerless support gloves and wrist supports at night, have an occaisional shot or two in one joint or another. i take turns crocheting, knitting, sewing, even chores sometimes. but then, i’ve been doing hand work for a very, very long time!
