Win Chunky Yarn from Deborah Norville’s Collection

October 11, 2012 by AllFreeKnitting 84 Comments

Get excited because AllFreeKnitting is giving away more yarn!  This time, one lucky winner will receive two skeins of Deborah Norville Serenity Chunky Tweeds Yarn in two colors: After Dark and Claret.  Anyone who appreciates quick knit projects needs to give this bulky yarn from Premier Yarns a try.  Made with 100% acrylic materials, the yarn is surprisingly soft and machine washable — you can even throw it in the dryer without worrying about damages.  The yarn’s durability makes it ideal for knitting up cozy scarves, mittens, hats and afghans.  Each skein also comes with a free pattern available on the inside of the yarn label, just in case you need some inspiration for your projects.

Enter to win here.  Contest ends October 25, 2012.

I would create striped wrist warmers that would be awesome to wear for driving, watching TV, sitting at my desk at work or at home, or sitting in meetings. Wearing wristers outdoors make wide jacket sleeves more cozy too!
Keeping the wrist area warm is a subtle way to warm the entire body- great for those times adding a shawl might be too obvious and going without makes sitting still a problem.
